"Getting to Know the Church" Bible Study starts Wednesday, September 9th at 7 pm.

We invite all Covenant Community Church members, those considering membership, and anyone in our community who wants to learn more about what Scripture teaches about the church of Jesus Christ and how we seek to live that out faithfully at Covenant. The elders strong suggest that all members attend this 4 week study.

Also, there 5 Sundays this month, which means our Children's Ministry will be serving in some way during the service. It's a joy to see them helping with greeting at the door, playing the prelude, singing a song or reciting memory verses during the service. We hope you'll join us.

ll2 Peter 1:3-4 "A Faith in Divine Provision:

The faith, Peter describes is not a faith that survives because we are strong. It survives because God has supplied it with everything it needs. �Our faith is a faith of divine provision.
God's power gives it life.
God's call awakens it.
God's promises sustain it. �
God's grace transforms it,
and therefore our confidence rests not in ourselves, but in the all sufficient Christ. Lord, we thank you.

Our study in 2 Peter continues on Sunday at 10 am. We will be hosting a fellowship meal following the service. The main dish will be fried chicken. Please bring a side dish and come prepared to enjoy the fellowship of Christ with your brothers and sisters.

There will also be a Children's Ministry meeting following the service for all Sunday morning and Wednesday evening children's ministry teachers.
