Join us this Friday at St. Joseph Church as we pray the Stations of the Cross at 7 PM.

In the quiet of Lent, this simple, beautiful devotion helps us walk with Jesus and reflect on His love for us. All are welcome—whether this is part of your weekly rhythm or you’re joining for the first time. We’d love to pray with you.

We are in need of three students willing to serve from PSR to help. Being a server is not required, they will hold candles and cross as we go from station to station. Preferably 6th grade or higher.

Tonight, our community stands a little stronger and a lot brighter. A massive congratulations to the Confirmation Class of 2026!

After months of preparation, service, and reflection, these young men and women have stepped forward to say "Yes" to their faith and receive the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. It wasn't just a ceremony; it was a powerful commitment to live out the Gospel in a world that truly needs their light.

To our newly confirmed:

Be Bold: Use your unique talents to make a difference.

Be Brave: Stand up for what is right, even when it’s not easy.

Be You: Remember that God called you by name and has a specific mission for your life.

A huge thank you to the parents, sponsors, and catechists who have walked alongside these students on their journey. Your guidance has been the foundation for this beautiful milestone.

"Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire." — St. Catherine of Siena

Welcome to this new chapter of your spiritual journey. We can't wait to see the incredible things you'll do!

🙏 Called to Serve: Remembering Those in Need

Your compassion is a direct reflection of a higher calling to care for the vulnerable. When we serve others, we are truly fulfilling the command to love our neighbor.

As scripture reminds us:

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me.” — Matthew 25:35

And the blessing of giving comes back to you:

“The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” — Proverbs 22:9

Thank you for being the hands and feet of charity, for sharing your abundance, and for being a profound blessing to those in need at St. Vincent de Paul and the Garden Rose Mission. You have made a tangible difference in the lives of many!

Together, we can continue to fight hunger and show God's love to all!

🙏 A Prayer for Jamaica During Hurricane Melissa 🇯🇲

Heavenly Father, we lift up the island of Jamaica and all its people to you as they face the devastation and danger of Hurricane Melissa.

We pray for protection: Guard every person, every home, and every community. Calm the raging winds and waters, and shield them from the worst of the storm's fury.

We pray for strength and resilience: Be with the leaders, the first responders, and all the neighbours working tirelessly to protect and help one another. Grant them courage in the face of this tragedy.

We pray for comfort and hope: For those who have lost loved ones, or seen their homes and livelihoods destroyed, let your peace reign over their fear and grief. Remind them of the indomitable Jamaican spirit and the promise of rebuilding.

We pray for the immediate and long-term aid that will be desperately needed. Move the hearts of people around the world to stand in solidarity and support the relief and recovery efforts.

"Eternal Father, bless our land, Guard us with thy mighty hand..." We place Jamaica in your care, trusting in your mercy and grace. Amen.

Confirmation Journey Begins! 🙏

We are so proud to announce our 8th Grade Confirmation Candidates have officially made their commitment to begin preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation tonight!

This is a beautiful and important step in their faith journey. Over the next several months, these young men and women will be diving deeper into the Catholic faith, seeking a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit, and preparing to fully affirm the faith received at their Baptism.

This commitment involves:

📖 Deepening their understanding of the Catholic faith and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

🕊️ Engaging in service to their church and community.

⛪ Attending classes and retreats to discern and grow.

Please keep these dedicated students in your prayers as they embark on this path of spiritual growth and commitment. May the Holy Spirit guide, inspire, and strengthen them every step of the way!

Prayers for our Candidates!
