There’s a difference between attending church and being part of a church.

A large crowd can be exciting. There’s something incredible about seeing hundreds or thousands of people worshipping God together.

But Christianity was never intended to be something we do anonymously.

The church described in Acts was a community. They worshipped together, ate together, learned together, prayed together, and took care of one another. Their faith wasn’t confined to an hour on Sunday morning—it became part of their everyday lives.

That’s one of the things we value at Summit.

Here, you don’t have to be another face in the crowd. You can build relationships. Your children can grow up surrounded by people who know them. You can find brothers and sisters who will pray with you, encourage you, and walk beside you when life gets difficult.

We don’t want you simply to attend. We want you to belong.

We’ve reached 1,000 followers on Facebook, and we couldn’t be more thankful—not for anything we’ve done, but for what God is doing.

We praise God that so many people have been searching for Him and seeking to grow in their faith. Our prayer is that this page can be a small tool God uses to help people come and see, learn more about His Word, and ultimately grow closer to Him.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent diaper drive! Because of your generosity, we were able to collect more than 1,600 diapers and wipes to help families in our community.
These donations will be distributed to those in need, providing practical support and reminding others that they are loved and cared for.
We believe that following Jesus means serving others with compassion—not only in words, but through acts of kindness that make a real difference. Opportunities like this are one small way we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.

The Lord’s Supper: Remembering the Cross

Every first day of the week, Christians remember the sacrifice of Jesus by sharing in the Lord’s Supper.

Jesus established this memorial before His death, asking His followers to remember Him (Luke 22:19-20).

The early church gathered on the first day of the week to break bread together (Acts 20:7), remembering Christ’s body given for us and His blood shed for the forgiveness of sins.

This simple meal points us back to the greatest act of love the world has ever known.

Giving With a Willing Heart

Giving is much more than supporting the work of the church.

It is an act of worship that expresses gratitude for everything God has given us.

The New Testament teaches Christians to give willingly and cheerfully, “as he may prosper” (1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:7).

Our gifts help spread the Gospel, care for those in need, and strengthen the work of God’s kingdom.

Giving reminds us that everything we have ultimately belongs to Him.

Singing: Worship Through Song

One of the most beautiful ways Christians worship God is by singing together.

The New Testament teaches believers to encourage one another with “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:19).

When we sing together, we aren’t performing for an audience. We are praising God while encouraging one another through the truths found in Scripture.

Whether you have a beautiful voice or simply sing from the heart, everyone can participate in this act of worship.

Teaching: Learning From God’s Word

God speaks to us through His Word.

When Christians gather, reading and teaching Scripture helps us grow in faith, understand God’s will, and become better equipped to serve Him.

Paul instructed Timothy to “preach the word” (2 Timothy 4:2), emphasizing that God’s message—not human opinions—should remain at the center of worship.

Every lesson is an opportunity to learn, grow, and encourage one another as we seek to follow Christ more faithfully.

The Bible continues to be our guide because God’s truth never changes.

Prayer: Speaking to Our Father

Prayer is one of the greatest blessings God has given His children.

Through prayer we praise God, thank Him for His blessings, seek His guidance, confess our sins, and ask for Him to intercede on our behalf.

The early church “devoted themselves…to prayers” (Acts 2:42), making prayer a central part of their worship together.

Prayer reminds us that we depend completely on God and that He hears those who faithfully seek Him.

When we gather, we lift our hearts together before our Heavenly Father.
