Sola Fide – Faith Alone

One of the great truths of the Reformation is that we are made right with God by faith alone—not by works, rituals, or our own efforts. Salvation is a gift we receive by trusting in Christ, not something we could ever earn.

Scripture reminds us:

“For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.” — Romans 3:28

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8

“The righteous shall live by faith.” — Romans 1:17

When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, His righteousness is counted as ours. That’s the heart of the gospel—faith alone in Christ alone, by God’s grace alone.
