We don't really understand how many lives we touch/effect on a daily basis.
Every interaction, every contact we have leaves an impression on someone. They remember how we talked to them, how we responded to them, how attentive we were to them, how we made them feel. Many times it is just a brief moment, but it registers. Many times in those brief moments we can have an influence.
If we are being obedient in our walk and we are where we are supposed to be, there are times that these interactions are more than just a general contact. If we are attentive to what is said, and maybe even to what is not said, Holy Spirit will lead us in a direction that may just change the moment, the day, the life of that other person. God gives us opportunities during the day to make that difference, and sometimes we are the answer someone has been praying for, if we are obedient.
There is nothing more frustrating, regretful, even a feeling of anguish when we realize later that we missed that opportunity. When we reflect back and know that it was right in front of us, that person needed something from us at that moment, and we were not ready, we were not prepared, we were not looking for it. UGH. I have had that feeling too many times that I never want to feel that way again.
We are called to be God's hands and feet in this generation. Are we being obedient to do our part?
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.
