We don't really understand how many lives we touch/effect on a daily basis.
Every interaction, every contact we have leaves an impression on someone. They remember how we talked to them, how we responded to them, how attentive we were to them, how we made them feel. Many times it is just a brief moment, but it registers. Many times in those brief moments we can have an influence.
If we are being obedient in our walk and we are where we are supposed to be, there are times that these interactions are more than just a general contact. If we are attentive to what is said, and maybe even to what is not said, Holy Spirit will lead us in a direction that may just change the moment, the day, the life of that other person. God gives us opportunities during the day to make that difference, and sometimes we are the answer someone has been praying for, if we are obedient.
There is nothing more frustrating, regretful, even a feeling of anguish when we realize later that we missed that opportunity. When we reflect back and know that it was right in front of us, that person needed something from us at that moment, and we were not ready, we were not prepared, we were not looking for it. UGH. I have had that feeling too many times that I never want to feel that way again.
We are called to be God's hands and feet in this generation. Are we being obedient to do our part?
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

The problem is not what God has in store for you, the problem is "Do you know Him enough to know what that is?"
Unless you know Him, know His voice, know His presence, you will never know the fullness of what He has planned for your life. Unless you are surrendered to Him and the power of Holy Spirit operating in your life, you will never "accidentally fall into" your ultimate destiny.
Some are OK with that. That are more than happy with their lives, their achievements, the direction of their lives and see no need for "more'. That is the cool thing about Jehovah God, He gives us that choice. He won't force us into anything, yet He will lead us into things beyond ourselves if we will follow Him.
Come worship with us tomorrow at New Vision Ministries Alvord. We are 3 miles South of Alvord on Highway 287 at the crossover at the top of the hill. Service starts at 10:30am. Come a little early for coffee and donuts. And bring your littles for Mrs. Brandi Medders Sells' class, where they will learn the word of God.
We will save you a seat. God bless.

We have all heard the saying "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result"!
But do we apply that to our lives?
We can not become what we are wanting to become if we don't change our habits, change our speech, change our thinking. If we are caught, trapped in a continuous cycle, only we can break that.
Romans 12:1-2 tells us that things in our lives change by the "renewing of our minds". That means that our mindset has to become different for the direction of our lives, of our relationships, of our actions and reactions, our purpose to be changed.
If you are happy where you are, where you are headed, how things are going...keep doing what you are doing. It is working!
If not, then YOU have to decide that things need to change. That change begins in YOU. Nobody else can make that difference in your life.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

Jesus tells us in John 14:27 (NLT) "I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world can not give. So don't be troubled or afraid".
Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus gave us His peace. The same peace that allowed Him to sleep in the boat in the midst of the storm. He gave us His peace which is a peace that surpasses human understanding. A calm of knowing that the trial and the storm is only a brief part of our story and not the outcome.
Imagine watching a movie and seeing the star have a happy ending at the end. The first time you watch it, when they find themselves in distress, in danger, your heart may race, your mind may be imagining all of the things that may god wrong, then you see them come out triumphant.
Then you go back and watch the movie again, you do not get that same anxiety, that same fear or concern because you already know the outcome. That same peace can rest in us, not knowing the outcome, but knowing the author of our story is in control and the outcome is in His hands. It can remove that fear, that concern, that anxiety and give us that peace the world can not comprehend.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

The same wind that blows the leaves off of the trees is the same wind that causes the roots to strengthen. It is the resistance to the wind that makes the roots dig in, reach deeper, expand their coverage to make the foundation strong.
Remember the story of Jesus and the fig tree. He noticed from a distance that the tree had leaves, so He had an expectation of figs. Yet when He got closer the tree was empty of figs so He cursed the tree and it dried up and died.
The leaves will come and go from season to season, but if the roots never form, if they never dig in then just the appearance of leaves is fruitless.
Our foundations need the resistance to the winds blowing against us to strengthen us for the future. What seems hard right now is making us stronger for the future. The season you are going through right now is more about establishing your roots than seeing decoration on the outside. In due season, the leaves will return, but without the foundation being in place it wouldn't really matter.
Hold on! You are being grounded in this season! The fruit is on the way!
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

Happy New Month!
As we enter the last third of the year, we have a choice to finish it out our way or His way. If I choose to do it my way, I have to remember:
1. I only see things in the short term.
2. If I do it my way, I am responsible to fulfill all of the choices in my limited mindset, abilities and provision
If I choose to do it His way:
1. He sees the long term big picture. It takes care of me now while building a foundation for the future.
2. He is responsible for the outcome in His understanding, His ability and His provision.
His way is definitely more sustainable than my way, but it is the choice I have to make. Romans 8:28 (NLT) tells us, "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them".
I challenge you to put things in His hands for the last 4 months of 2026 and then come January you can determine who will lead you into the New Year.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

The Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:11-12 (NLT)
"Not that I was even in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, plenty or little".
Gratitude. Gratitude for what we already have. The truth is that if we can not find gratitude living in a run down shack, we would never find gratitude living in a $20 million dollar mansion. Whatever we gain would never be enough.
If our focus is always on our lack, we will always lack.
The Apostle Paul we a pharisee of pharisees, he had the best school, the best training, the best of everything, yet Philippians, the book of "Joy" was written chained up in a prison. It is about our mindset, not our pocketbook.
When we are able to find that "gratitude" state of mind, no one, no circumstance, no condition can take that away from us.
When we have a mindset of lack, of being a victim, no one, no circumstance, no condition can ever give us peace.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

WE MUST BE CAREFUL in ministry that we do not enable people to become addicted to the ‘energy of church’, without calling them to the ‘effort of discipleship.’
