YWAM North Idaho

YWAM North Idaho Youth With A Mission is an international movement of volunteers who are passionate about following Jesus.

Also known as YWAM (pronounced "WHY-wam"), our purpose is to know God and to make Him known globally. Back when YWAM began in 1960, it's main focus was to give young people the opportunity to go on short trips to demonstrate God's love in other cultures. Today, YWAM still focuses on youth, but has members of every age (even many people who choose to spend their "retirement" in active service). YWA

M has a de-centralized structure, but at last count was operating in more than 1000 locations in over 180 countries, with a staff of nearly 18,000. LOREN CUNNINGHAM, FOUNDER OF YOUTH WITH A MISSION (YWAM) WENT TO BE WITH JESUS ON OCTOBER 6th, 2023 AT THE AGE OF 88.

Loren was the first person in history to travel to every sovereign nation on earth, all dependent countries, and more than 100 territories and islands for the sake of Christ and the Great Commission (Mark 16:15). Now he has added one more “stamp” to his well-worn passport: HEAVEN!
