RE-OPENING
The 2nd Street Commons is re-opening with a new look!
As the mission of Kaleidoscope Community Services is to connect community needs with community resources, we see the venue of the 2nd Street Commons as a vitally important place for people to gather to serve our local community. Even though we can't continue to serve a daily meal, (we simply don't have the resources to secure the necessary permits and make the necessary improvements to our kitchen, among other issues), there are things that we CAN do!
There will be a number of different groups hosting at different times throughout the week down at the Commons with a variety of offerings. These will range from Bible studies, arts and crafts groups, book clubs, discipleship and mentoring groups, recovery meetings, job and other life-skill coaching, and more. The schedule for the 2nd Street Commons will be promoted here on FB, as well as distributed around the community, starting next Monday May 4th.
We are all looking forward to this new phase of development for Kaleidoscope Community Services and the 2nd Street Commons! Please join us in prayer for God's blessing, wisdom and guidance as we move forward in joy and hope!

Great News!

TWO RV'S DONATED = FOUR PEOPLE OFF THE STREET

Thanks so much to the generous people who donated a couple of trailers to KALEIDOSCOPE COMMUNITY SERVICES. Every trailer or motorhome that people donate to us or let us use gets two people off the street for the winter. There are lots of openings in our areas RV parks- so this seems like a viable option.
RV park space is about $ 400.00 per month, so anyone who would like to donate financial resources to assist us in paying space rent would be much appreciated!
