It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of my mentor, Floyd Lawhon, to heaven. He passed on Wednesday a bit after 7. He was very instrumental in helping me begin my ministry as a teenager, in Virginia, My mother was his secretary at the Church of God State office in Roanoke, Va. He will be greatly missed. I was able to spend much time with him at Free Chapel, Orange County in December of last year. He told Jentezen and me some great stories. He is a 5 star general in the faith. He has joined the great cloud of witnesses! Well done Floyd, and welcome home.

A special moment in the Sturgill Family as 4th Generation, Josh Ball, was baptized at church yesterday..5th Generation, Lil Everly Vipperman, stood taking in every moment of this holy action. Her expression and stance reflected that she was moved by what was taking place..To me, it was very moving to see this lil tiny one so involved in her 6ft 4 or 5 inches tall, cousin baptism..Psalms 127:3 says, “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.” I witnessed this as I watched my sister, Gayle Sturgill McKeithan, and my sister, Faye Fultz, Generations, interact in a spiritual manner.. Parents, if I could give any advice as a elder, it would be to take your children to church, where they can interact with children, their own age, and children of all ages, in the house of God❤️❤️

On tonight’s program, Walking in the Kingdom, Doc teaches on the life of Jesus as a child..We’ve always heard teachings on the manger and the cross, but tonight, he teaches on the life of Jesus as a nine year old. He and some other scholars have been delving into the Life and Times of Jesus Christ. I love this teaching. You can watch this online or live at livingfaittv.com at 9 PM eastern time.

These are days of soul searching, days of repenting for wrong doings, days of forgiveness..
