I’ve been thinking about the reality that, as believers, we are destined to push back darkness. As you go into the week, I just want to remind you that spiritual warfare and our ability to face battles really starts with two questions:
1. Who do I say God is?
2. Who does He say I am?
We must remember that He has been given all dominion and authority. He made a public display of the enemy and placed all principalities and powers under His feet. He has given all authority to us to advance an ever increasing Kingdom. We have all authority, and the enemy has none.
The only way the enemy gets to use his power against you is to convince you to authorize him.
The enemy’s deceptive ways is to get you to use your authority to deputize him to use his power in your life, b/c he has no authority unless it’s given to him. We authorize him when we come into agreement with the thoughts that principalities and powers use to try and deceive us.
As you go through the week, I pray that you would know the truth (reality) and it would set you free. I pray the reality of the Kingdom would manifest in your thoughts, actions, and lifestyle… and you would go on the offensive to push the forces of darkness out. You were created to be world changers!
