● If there are any sisters in our wards looking for a nice service, Pat Chapman is looking for women who can do simple manicures at the Long Term Care Center. All you have to do is put lotion on their hands, paint their fingernails, and spend time visiting with them. I believe it's just once a week but if you can't make it every week, that's fine. Her number is 587-8527
● Sister Marie Cook is hosting an old fashioned sewing circle. She'll be sewing something every month for charity and would love people to join in. No sewing experience necessary. This is a PEROSNAL project, so there is no pressure to attend. Potential projects would include; feminine pads, quilts, t-shirt dresses, and children's hats. If you are interested and want more information contact Marie directly at [email protected]. It will be the first Wednesday of every month from 4:00-7:30PM at Marie's house. She'll have extra tables set up and sewing machines. It is a open house style...come & go as you can, we'll finish up around 7:30. Soup will be in the crockpot. Please bring: Sissors (if you have them), Sewing Machine (if you have one and would like to-not necessary), a friend, neighbor, or teen is welcome too.
● Sister Sunshine Hour at 10:00AM at the Cody Mural Building Gym. All sisters are invited & children welcome. This is a great way to let the kids play and sisters to get to know each other. For more information or questions contact Chrissy Lennon.

FEBRUARY
"Christ's Atonement Is Evidence of God's Love"
THOUGHT
"To Love Is to Lift”
Jesus spent His life “lift[ing] up the hands which hang down.” He gave hope to the hopeless and befriended the friendless. He cared for the sick and fed the hungry. He prayed for those who crucified Him, so selfless was His concern for others.
Everywhere Jesus went, crowds clamored for His time and attention. He never turned them away and said, “Sorry, I have more important things to do.”
When He saw someone who was down, He reached out a hand. He lifted up.
“His life was a legacy of love,” Thomas S. Monson has said. “The sick He healed; the downtrodden He lifted.”
