Morock’s Momentitos May 2026

Dear Friends & Family,

“Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.” Ephesians 3:21-22

It has been a while since I have sent out an update. In my last letter I told you that when I returned to Bibleville. I found a pile of sawdust in my guest room. I cleaned it up but a few weeks later there was another pile. I started sending photos to the bug guy who had sprayed my house in November. He came over and discovered evidence of carpenter ants. He took some skirting off, found an ant trail and also discovered a crack in the elbow of the sewer pipe. The ants kept coming back, the bug guy kept coming by and spraying. He was beginning to think I might have to fumigate the whole house. He decided to take off some front skirting to see if they had a nest there. There was no nest but he could see a substantial water leak. The maintenance crew came and fixed the pipe. Eloi had to come back again with his big sprayer. That seemed to take care of the ants. Since the ants had led us to discover the leaks and all the leaks were taken care of I guess there was no need for the Lord to allow any more ants to hang around. Thank you to all who were praying for the “ant attack”. God is able to do above and beyond all we ask or think…”

The other issue with the house that I mentioned in my last letter was the need for a roof. I got a quote from a roofer here. I told my son-in-law, Anthony, I would pay him if he came down and replace the roof. He decided to take me up on it. They made it a family vacation. They were able to rent a place here at Bibleville for a week, we spent time together, celebrated Jonas’ 8th birthday at the beach and I also got a new roof. To God be the glory for His care and provision for us!

As I mentioned in my last update, Bibleville is run on a volunteer system to keep maintenance fees low. We are asked to put in at least 5 hours a week in ministry and/or functional upkeep. I enjoyed being able to go to the Mexican market to pass out tracts, working in the Scripture ministry, helping to decorate the auditorium, interviewing new people for the community newsletter, working in the mail room and on the activity committee. There are also cleaning projects, lawn care, maintenance, office work, music ministry, Bible studies, prayer groups, ladies teas, providing meals for speakers and music groups that come and more. Everyone can find a place to serve. Most of that has ceased since the majority of the people have returned to their homes up north. There were around 140 residents here from January through March and probably around 40 now. The tract ministry continues, the VBS ministry will continue a little longer and the work in the mail room is year round. I have been visiting people and helping where I can as well as continuing to organize my house and prepare it for when I will be gone.

In April I rode up to Kansas with a couple from Bibleville who live out near Haviland. I was able to be with Micaiah and family for Passover, Easter, 3 birthdays, a piano recital plus visit friends in the area.

The Lord willing I will be heading north again this year. The Lord willing, I will be helping with First Aid at Cocolalla Lake Bible Camp and also visiting churches and people. God has provided me with a car to use while I am up there. I would appreciate your prayers about housing. I have been praying about buying a camping trailer. Dirk has said I could park one at the camp. Please pray that God will give me wisdom and that He will provide the right camper if that is how He wants to provide for my housing needs or that He would provide other housing for me.

You are a continual source of joy and encouragement to me as you pray and give so faithfully. Thank you. “I am confident that “My God shall supply all your and my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

God is not slack in His promises but is willing that none should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God, but how shall they hear (and come to repentance) unless someone goes?!
Therefore, GO and preach to every creature the gospel, because it pleases God to save many by the foolishness of preaching. The harvest is ready, the workers still too few...

Death proved He became like us.
Resurrection proved He was never just one of us.

He didn’t only enter our brokenness, He conquered it.
He didn’t just face the grave, He walked out of it.

And that changes everything.

If death couldn’t hold Him,
then sin can’t define you,
and the grave won’t be your end either.

This isn’t just a story to believe..
it’s a truth that demands a response.

We were blessed by the message brought to us by Jonathan Tucker. Because of God's love for us and because of God's presence that fortifies us with His great strength, we can "Man Up' on the front lines of battle. Because of Christ, even in a world full of tribulation, we can experience a peace that is bigger than the problems. The battle has already been won.

Morock Moments: Missions Update on Lynda Morrock
Morocks Moments January 2026

Greetings in the name of the Lord!

As we begin this new year let us remember, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails”. Proverbs 19:12 May we align our plans with our Lords purpose for only then we will have purpose that prevails.

I praise God for His many blessings in 2025 and am looking forward to the purpose and plans He has for me in 2026.

It has been a while since my last update so I will give a recap of 2025:

-spent 8 weeks in Texas at Bibleville Conference grounds

-God provided me with a home at Bibleville

-spent 2 weeks in Puebla helping with the Puebla Ladies Retreat and visiting friends

-Daulton and Maggie returned from Uganda, and visited in Kansas

-Daulton, Anthony, Isaiah and Jeshua helped me take a load down to Bibleville

- moved out of the Haviland house the end of June and flew up to Spokane

-was the first aid provider at Cocolalla Lake Bible Camp for the month of July

-flew out to North Carolina to help my sister, Sandra, after her shoulder surgery

-returned to the Northwest, visited churches and friends in Idaho and Washington

-October 30th flew to Wichita, spend November with Micaiah and family

-December 1st Anthony and Adryan drove me down to Bibleville, where, the Lord willing, I will spend the winter.

I thought I would give you a little information about Bibleville Conference Grounds. Bibleville is not just a retirement community, it is a community of people committed to the work of the Lord. Bibleville is owned by Rio Grande Bible Ministries, a Spanish Bible college and Spanish Language School. Some of the residents of Bibleville teach at the college, others volunteer as tutors, mentors or to teach English. Not all of the residents are retired. There are some who are still doing missionary work in Mexico or South America. A number of the residents are involved with GMO, Global Media Outreach, an online ministry. At Bibleville there are permanent, year round residents and others who just come for the Conference season, which runs from January though March. In order to keep the park costs lower Bibleville is a volunteer community. Whether you live here year round or part time, all residents are asked to put in a minimum of five hours a week with the services and ministries at Bibleville. These include office work, maintenance and lawn care, music ministry, ushering, VBS ministry, Quilting ministry, tract ministry at the local Mexican Market, Scripture ministry, activity committee, decorating the auditorium, helping in the mailroom and writing for the community newsletter, just to name a few.

When I arrived at Bibleville in December I was told that I need a new roof, (there was evidence in my bathroom ceiling of a leak) and my porch needed to be painted. A neighbor came by the same day and said he would like to paint my porch. Praise the Lord! The men on the maintenance crew did go up on my roof and did some caulking and fixed some loose things up there, which might give me a little extra time. The men here and my son-in-law still say I should replace the black shingle roof with a white metal roof because there are damaged tiles and it would save me money in electricity. I discovered sawdust in my guest room so I called the bug man. He looked under the house and found a leak in the sewer pipe and carpenter ants. He sprayed the carpenter ants and the maintenance guys did a quick fix on the sewer pipe with duct tape which is holding for now but I assume it needs to be replaced.

Since Bibleville is now my “home base” I am becoming a Texas resident but in my heart I am still an Idahoan!

Prayer and Praise:

Praise for how God worked everything together for good this summer and how He worked things out with my move to Bibleville.

Prayer for the Puebla Ladies Retreat is February 27th to March 1st this year. I would appreciate prayer for the retreat and also for wisdom about me going.

Prayer for house repairs.

Prayer as I find medical, dental and eye doctors down here.

Prayer as I register my car and get a Texas drivers license. I have gone once and was told I didn’t have the right documents. I will try again next week.

Prayer for wisdom in the services and ministries God wants me involved in.

My address is: 1346 N. Cesar Chavez Rd, Alamo, Texas 78516

Thank you for your faithful prayer and financial support.
