🚨💔 SHE FILED A POLICE REPORT—AND THEN SHE VANISHED
📍 Titusville, Florida | January 2007
💔 THE DISAPPEARANCE OF TISA GANTT 💔
🕊️ Her name is Tisa Gantt. She was 36 years old when she disappeared from her South Deleon Avenue neighborhood nearly two decades ago. A daughter, a sister to twelve siblings, and a brilliant, outgoing woman who once attended Howard University and the University of Central Florida. She was known for helping others succeed, tutoring classmates through tough courses, always ready with a smile that lit up her entire face.
Just days before she vanished, Tisa filed sexual assault charges against a man named Edwin Deon Morris, whom she accused of ra**ng her. She told investigators she feared he would retaliate against her for going to the police. Despite her warnings, investigators initially believed she left on her own.
In the years since, police have searched multiple properties:
2008: Morris’ home and a house on DeLeon Avenue
2010: Tisa’s purse was found in a ditch on W.C. Stafford Street, just half a mile from Morris’ house—likely discarded the very day she disappeared
2011: Homes and vacant lots around Gilbert Street were searched, some with ground-penetrating radar, but nothing was uncovered
💔 Not a single trace of Tisa has ever been found.
Morris remains the primary person of interest. He has a long criminal history and is currently in custody on unrelated charges, including drug offenses and stalking.
🌹 Tisa’s family has never stopped searching. Her brother Raymond Gantt believes someone in Titusville knows what happened. Her father Matthew Sconyers, a man who turns to his Bible for strength, says he just wants to know where his daughter is—whether alive or not—so she can finally be laid to rest next to her mother in Georgia. Her sister Toni said, “For many years, I could not imagine closure without seeing my sister.”
💔 For her siblings, for her children, and for her father who lies awake at night praying—answers are long overdue.
At the time of her disappearance, Tisa was described as 5’6”–5’8” tall, weighing 140–155 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, a gap in her front teeth, pierced ears, and distinctive tattoos.
