FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY 2026

Building strong families begins with a clear commitment to whom we serve.

“Choose this day whom you will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

As a family, we are committed to keeping Christ at the center of our home through prayer, love, and unity.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all who attended and contributed to making this occasion meaningful and memorable.

📖 Daily Devotion — 1 Samuel 4–8 (KJV)

Powerful reminder today:

Israel tried to use the Ark like a good luck charm - “that it may save us” - but God showed them He cannot be used or controlled.

He is holy, sovereign, and desires a real relationship, not empty ritual. Even in enemy hands, God proved His power. False gods fell, and His “hand was heavy” on those who opposed Him.

When the people truly repented under Samuel - turning from idols and serving the Lord only - God fought for them and gave victory. Yet soon after, they asked for a king “like all the nations,” rejecting God as their true King. 🔥

Takeaway: God isn’t looking for routine - He’s looking for hearts fully surrendered to Him. “Prepare your hearts unto the Lord, and serve Him only.”
