Facts About Favor

Let’s face the flawless fact that favor is not fair. Some doubt your sincerity, some dispute your sanctification, and some even discredit your salvation. But, what they cannot deny is that you have favor. It was favor that brought you from broken to blessed, from stagnant to stability, from worldly to a worshipper. The fact that you have been blessed, even with all of your flaws, gives credence to the fact that you have the Lord’s favor!!
Psalm 84:11 (ESV): “The Lord provides favor and honor, withholding no good thing from those who walk uprightly.”.

It’s Not Pride, It’s Promise

The Israelites believed that pride was the phenomenon that was pushing Joshua and Caleb into leading the people to pending peril. Therefore, they sought to stone them along with Moses and Aaron (Numbers 14:5-20). Joshua and Caleb were not standing on pride, they were standing on God’s promise. Beloved, when you face your giants, be prepaid to also face scrutiny from skeptics. When you stand by faith and trust in the Lord, some will perceive you to be prideful. However, this overwhelming confidence is not pride, it is promise.
Psalm 20:7 “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God”.

Some thought the ditch they dug would lead to your destruction. Some thought their derogatory words would cause you to diminish. Some thought their departure would be your demise. Now, because your head is still held high, they proliferate propaganda that you are prideful. When you stand by faith and trust in the Lord, some will perceive you to be prideful. However, this overwhelming confidence is not pride, it is promise.

When You Know, You Know

Beloved, your mastery of the mountain is manifested when you accept the mission. In other words, if you Shoot Your Shot. So what are the conceivable consequences of not Shooting Your Shot?? Numbers 32:13 “And the Lord's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years”.
Beloved, David’s confidence was not in the rock that was in the slingshot, but in the “Rock” that told him to shoot his shot. Stand on the Rock of your salvation and shoot your shot. Psalm 18:2 “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;”. When you know, you know.

Don’t know how to shoot your shot? Just ask Hannah what prayer can do (1 Samuel 1:9-20). You don’t have to know How, when you know Who!! Bow down to the Lord and shoot your shot.
