In the Gospel, Jesus tells the Parable of the Great Supper. When those who were first invited made excuses and declined the invitation, the host opened his table to others who were willing to come. Christ reminds us that God's invitation to His Kingdom is extended to all, but we must be willing to respond. The question for each of us is simple: When Christ calls, will we come?
