WON is committed to winning people with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We have orphanages in India and Cameroon as well as Bible Colleges.

Win Our Nations was first founded and registered in the mid 1980's in the United Kingdom by Pastors Rod and Hazel Frankland. At that time as ex-missionaries to India, they were pastoring Wellspring, an evangelical church in the Essex rural countryside of Great Chesterford. WON was formed because Wellspring Church was involved in evangelism and also establishing a residential hostel in Tenali, Andr

a Pradesh, South India, for Polio victims where members could get free operations on their limbs and have time to recuperate. Eventually in the mid 1990's the WON name was dropped and changed to Carrot Tops by the Frankland's for their work in India. In 1992 Malcolm and Phyllis Blowes, together with their two youngest children, Samuel and Holly, were called to the full time mission field in Eastern Europe working mainly with the marginalized and down-trodden Gypsy communities in the newly formed Republic of Slovakia. A church was founded in the town of Partizanske which was locally known as "the gypsy church", but officially called Pramen Zivota (Well of Life). The Blowes registered Win Our Nations there as Pomoc Nasim Narodim (HELP OUR NATIONS) as the ex-communist authorities felt the 'WIN' too aggressive. In January 1998, Malcolm, Phyllis and Samuel Blowes joined staff at Teen Missions International in Florida for a three year's commitment. Their daughter Holly was already at TMI at their Missions Bible School. When this responsibility was fulfilled in January 2001, the Blowes decided to keep their missions base in the Sunshine State in the town of Merritt Island, which is part of the city of Cocoa. Win Our Nations was registered in America through East Coast Christian Center on Merritt Island and the senior Pastor there (Dan Stallbaum) became it's president. Malcolm and Phyllis have since made two trips back to India since registering WON in America. Win Our Nations managed to get officially registered only in early 2002. A full board has been set up. When registering, the authorities didn't like the word 'Nations' and we eventually settled for the Name "Win Our Natives" which sounds a little strange to western ears, but seems acceptable in India. In fact a lot of WON's work is among the tribal groups, many of which still hunt with bow and arrow and do live animal sacrifices, so maybe the name isn't so far short.
