Many people in the Bible who got in trouble were in positions they never should have been in because they were not about the Lord‘s business. Isn’t that true with our own lives? The world says that “idle hands are the devil’s play things”, and the Bible tells us to lead a quiet life and work with our hands.

There is something to be said about a person on mission, determined and working from a place of conviction. Distractions fade away, temptations fall flat, because your energy is being spent on building something eternal instead of seeking the temporal. if you feel like you’re out of sync or something is off in your life, do a quick self assessment and see if you’ve been focusing too much on the things of this world or on yourself instead of the things of God. Those things aren’t inherently bad, but we tend to get our priorities mixed up. Let’s put God back in His rightful place in our lives as first and the main reason we’re waking up in the morning 🙏
