Just met with the doctor and he said everything went well. He feels he got everything that would be cancerous but he did take out 2 lymph nodes to be tested just to be sure, he said that’s standard procedure with anyone. Results should be back next week. Assuming everything comes back negative which he expects it will, the next step will be low dose radiation throughout the whole breast to take care of any cells, tissue, muscle etc that could be affected. This is also standard procedure just to make sure that any potential cancer cells are destroyed. He is a great doctor and he said that he feels very good about it. She’s gradually waking up from the anesthesia and we should be able to go home in the next hour or 2. Thanks for your prayers. We love you all. Todd and Lisa.🙏
