What a special morning with our FBC ladies!

Mrs. Lunelle Watson shared her delicious Basic Yeast Roll Recipe with us this morning, and we are so blessed and thankful to receive a little piece of her family’s legacy.

There is something so special about recipes that have been loved, made, and passed down through generations. This is the kind of generational wealth we’re grateful to inherit, wisdom, tradition, and the willingness to share it with others.
Thank you, Mrs. Lunelle, for sharing not only your recipe, but a little piece of what makes it so special. We can’t wait to make these rolls and pass the recipe along for generations to come!

Our Women’s Ministry Team had a fun night learning to play mahjong in attempt to help with our upcoming game night on 8/25. A BIG thanks to Abbi Belflower Lauritsen who hosted us, put up with our shenanigans, & taught us to play! We had a blast!

Was it fun? Absolutely.
Are we confident in our game? Definitely not.
Are we playing again before our game night? For sho.
Will we be helpful on 8/25? Maybeee.

Join us on August 25 from 6 - 8 in the Fellowship Hall for an evening of learning mahjong!

Mahjong seating is limited (or you can play w/ a partner!). If the mahjong tables are full, you can be sure to enjoy delicious food & great company.

What a beautiful weekend celebrating the incredible women and mothers in our church family and community at our “My Cup Runneth Over” Mother’s Day event 🫶🏻

As women, we wear so many hats every single day — mothers, wives, daughters, friends, caretakers, encouragers, leaders, and so much more. Sometimes the weight of it all can leave us feeling tired, stretched thin, and wondering if we’re enough for everything we’re called to carry.

But what a comfort it is to know that when we feel weak, overwhelmed, or incapable… God is still faithful. He strengthens us, pours into us, and reminds us that we were never meant to carry it all alone. Through every season, His grace continues to overflow.

Psalm 23:5 says, “My cup runneth over,” and we pray each woman left this weekend feeling encouraged, loved, refreshed, and reminded of just how deeply valued she is.

We are so thankful for the intentional time spent together, the fellowship, the laughter, the conversations, and the opportunity to simply pour into one another.

We hope each of you had a beautiful and blessed Mother’s Day! 😊
