"What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us." 1 Corinthians 2:12. Freely given. Those two words have a lot of meaning, but what was freely given? Mercy, grace, love, salvation, hope, new life. Worldly thinking tells us though that everything comes at a cost and there is always something wanted in return and you know what, they are not wrong, that is the way the world thinks. From a worldly standpoint, Christ's death on the cross is the cost of the gift and in return God the tyrant wants us to be his slaves...wait... sounds like the way the devil wants us thinking. Through the Holy Spirit, God gives us understanding of this "free" gift. Did it come at a cost, yes, Christ's death was not imagined, he gave his life, but it was freely given. In order to receive something free, it must be given free, with nothing expected in return. Christ died for our sins, but it is our choice to give up those sins. A tyrant would have forced us to give them up and then do exactly what he wanted without fault. Jesus expected nothing in return, but those that do choose to repent of their sins find a Savior waiting with open arms. By giving up our sins we receive salvation, mercy, grace, love, hope, new life. We receive the Holy Spirit through whom we gain wisdom and understanding of who God truly is and that all things belong to and are from him. People who don't know the Holy Spirit cannot understand this and basically call us foolish. I'm proud to be foolish and it breaks my heart that there are those that don't want to know him. That is why we have hope.

What is the greatest thing that holds you back? Is it fear, worry, success, your past. Living beyond yourself takes you letting go of you and believing life can be more. Drugs don't have to own you. Fear doesn't have to make you hide. The greatest crime that can ever be committed is never achieving all that you wanted to do in life.
Don't hold back. A life of true Christianity provides a freedom beyond measure. We pray for the freedom in Christ for all that are bound by drugs, their pasts, fears, failures, lost hopes, and anything else. There are people that care about you. Please Contact Us if you need help.
