Today, we witnessed what ministry is truly all about.

This morning’s sermon, “The One Invitation That Matters,” from John 10:7–9, reminded us that Jesus is the Door, and His invitation is open to all who will come.

By the grace of God, the Spirit moved in a powerful way. One person answered God’s invitation and came forward as a candidate for adult baptism.

There is no greater joy than seeing someone choose Christ. Buildings, programs, and crowds all have their place, but heaven rejoices over one soul that responds to the Savior.

This is why we preach.
This is why we pray.
This is why we serve.

Today, someone accepted the only invitation that changes eternity.

To God be all the glory!

May God continue to use the preaching of His Word to draw men, women, and children through the Door, Jesus.
