Last week we delivered 14 flood buckets to the Mission Central warehouse of UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief. Thanks to all who participated in our summer mission.

We delivered 15 backpacks and school supplies to The Point in Parksburg, PA to help get the kids ready for a new school year. Thanks to all who donated ti this ministry.

We’re holding a food drive for Octorara Area Food Cupboard on July 1st from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and July 5th from 10:00am to Noon. We’re inviting you to drop off donations to Friendship Church.

for The Octorara Area Food Cupboard

Items can be dropped off at the church on
July 1st from 5 – 7 pm
or
July 5th from 10 am to noon

Some items of immediate need that they have listed include:
cereal, tomato products, peanut butter, salad dressing, can potatoes, augratin potatoes, beets, pork&beans, canned peaches/pears, canned meat

We have a booth at the Highland Township’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

Come stop by. They have horse rides, BBQ, and other things to see.
