WANTED TO SHARE THIS AGAIN FROM 2022.

OH FOR A THOUSAND TONGUES TO SING

Sitting here this morning in Northern Ireland…in prayer..in the precious Presence of God. I remembered an old hymn written by Charles Wesley. “Oh For Thousand Tongues To Sing”. I quickly looked up the words.

“O for a thousand tongues to sing�my great Redeemer’s praise,�the glories of my God and King,�the triumphs of his grace!
My gracious Master and my God,�assist me to proclaim,�to spread through all the earth abroad�the honors of thy name.
Jesus! the name that charms our fears,�that bids our sorrows cease;�’tis music in the sinner’s ears,�’tis life, and health, and peace.
He breaks the power of canceled sin,�he sets the prisoner free;�his blood can make the foulest clean;�his blood availed for me.
He speaks, and listening to his voice,�new life the dead receive;�the mournful, broken hearts rejoice,�the humble poor believe.
Hear him, ye deaf; his praise, ye dumb,�your loosened tongues employ;�ye blind, behold your savior come,�and leap, ye lame, for joy.
In Christ, your head, you then shall know,�shall feel your sins forgiven;�anticipate your heaven below,�and own that love is heaven.”

My heart was elevated in His Presence as I begin to say aloud those words, “Oh For A Thousand Tongues To Sing.” Then I remembered the like words from the song the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir sang in 1988. “Oh For A Thousand Tongues To Sing, Praises Unto Thee, Oh For A Thousand Hands To Raise in Honor To The King.”
As I mediated and worshiped the only true and Living God, my soul was elevated…my cup as King David declared, “runneth over.”
In this time, when the beginnings of God’s judgment is surely noticed by discerning believers. In this time of evil and in a world filled with violence, hatred and perversion. There is a Peace, that can only be found in the Presence of God. Take the time daily…nightly…to be with Him. Tell Him…Oh For A Thousand Tongues To Sing, Praises Unto Thee, Oh For A Thousand Hands To Raise, In Honor To The King.”
His Presence Will be a place of “Revelation, Illumination, and Light. The Psalmist said, Psa 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

WHAT CHRISTIANITY IS THIS?

I have lived over six and a half decades. And except the years as a teenager, living alienated from Christ, I have been around and “in” Christianity. While I say this with love, I say it with no vacillating. The terms Christian and Christianity have become so diluted and cheapened by the hodgepodge of “variant” extremes being manifested in our times. I have lived to see the day of the “embarrassment” of the so-called prophets to the cheapened summation of “Holy Scripture, and Holy Living”. Where has all this brought what the world considers the Christian Church too? A weakened religious entity made up of a multiplicity of Christian groups who have made Christianity in the mold of their version and branding. God forgive us. What a laughing stock much of it has now become. Most of this today is NOT the Christianity of the Apostles and the faithful early church believers (who were mostly Jewish in the beginning), nor the Christianity that found itself bringing the gospel of redemption to the pagan gentiles under Roman rule, who often found the martyrs death. Much of this, isn’t even the Christianity of our mothers and fathers who found Christ in the revivals of yesteryear. The message of Christ has been tainted and watered down until there has been a loss of the simplicity of the gospel (II Cor 11:3) and we are reaping the results.
Of course there is a “real”, there are exceptions to all I’ve stated...sadly, the exceptions are no longer the majority. T. Austin Sparks the old British preacher, long in heaven, stated it like this. “ Christ is the new dispensation. I am here, he said. You go through that gospel of John. He is centering everything in Himself. I am the Way; I am the Truth; I am the Life; I am the Shepherd; I am the Vine; I am the Resurrection. It is a PERSON. It is that which lies behind everything. Christianity is Christ. Christ is Christianity. That is where it all begins and it never departs from Him. The development of the Christian life is only the development of Jesus Christ in the life.” TAS

I am convinced the turbulent times ahead are going to bring the restoration of the “Christianity of Christ”. JDT

DIMMING OF THE LIGHT

I was looking over my sermon notes for this morning and I had handwritten these words. “For centuries and generations when the Life diminished in the Church, the Light dimmed”.
We are now in a “dimmed day” of spiritual light in our churches. There are some exceptions…they are NOT the rule…only exceptions.

BIBI IS ALIVE.

For those who have been seeing the videos and social media stories about the death of the Prime Minister, whom they claim Iran killed along with others…I know he is alive and well.
Israel has been attacked and fought wars since its recognition as a modern nation. Iran has through Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Palestinians Hamas, along with other proxies as well as direct attack from Iran, has lost thousands of its citizens. Yet, the world and many so-called Christians could care less. Why? There is a spirit of hatred that is working in the hearts of millions in most nations. To be honest this is prophetic, we knew in the last days it would happen and that the nations would turn against Israel, but woe be to those who have given into the Antichrist spirit. I have listened to the Jewish Christian teacher and author Art Katz who is now with Christ. He warned us through the scriptures decades ago that it was coming. That Christians would have to make a choice to love and even be persecuted for the Jewish people. It’s here. What many clueless Christian’s don’t realize is that there are many of our Arabic speaking brethren there in Israel. They are God’s people who love Christ. They are Israeli citizens who are able to have churches and preach the gospel. Is all perfect in their freedom to do so…no, but in all these countries who the Tucker Carlsons Candace Owens are praising, you’ll find great persecution and sometimes death for those who practice their faith. Wake up folks, between you tube and other social media, there are so many lies and propaganda concerning Israel…this war. No one wants war, but this wicked Islamic regime is hell bent on getting nuclear weapons to destroy Israel and at least try to destroy the U.S. They believe this will usher in their messiah. No one has to agree with everything a government does, I disagree with much of what ours has and is doing.
Only the ignorant and theologically challenged can deny that God didn’t have a hand in the formation of modern Israel. How do you think the prophetic scripture was to be fulfilled…with the land controlled by wicked Islamist ? Many of you don’t know what spirit your of when you join up with this foolish propaganda. You’re certainly not praying about it and studying the word of God. You’re listening to those who believe in replacement theology.
For thousands of years, God has blessed, then judged Israel. He brought them in…He dispersed them out again..He brought them in..He now is bringing them in and even more so as the persecution against them will increase. You can argue about “covenant”, but if you will read Romans chapter 11, you will find that Paul saw their end… Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

And Isaiah foretold it in his day,
Isa 59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
Isa 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Paul called them his brethren, as they were his Jewish family.
Rom 9:2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
Rom 9:3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
Rom 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
Rom 9:5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen

The Apostle loved them so much he was willing to be “accursed” estranged from God if it meant their salvation .
Yet you want to argue about whether they are really Jews or not? There are likely those who say they are,
but not, but there are millions who are also the children Jacob. Do you really believe they would have suffered hatred, persecution, the lies, the torture in the death camps to pretend to be someone they are not. The foolishness of all this being propagated today puzzles me.

Jesus in speaking of the future judgment with nations gathered before Him.
Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Mat 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Mat 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

You are free to believe what you will, but He was talking about what the nations did and not do for His kinsmen the Jews. Not believers.

Are there Jews who hate Christian’s…yes. You will find that mostly among the ultra orthodox, the ultra religious, who even despise the Jews who are observant of the religious teachings of Judaism.
There are also many Christian ministers and so called Christian’s here in the U.S. that hate the Jewish people. It is not only Islam that hates Israel and its people, but the hierarchy of so called Christian institutions have always despised and promoted the utter destruction of the Jewish race. Remember the Spanish Inquisition?

When I was in prayer this morning I kept telling the Lord that I was “angry”. So vexed over the hatred that is being spewed out. The lies, the false AI propaganda.
I have close brethren in the churches in Israel. I want their safety and well being, as they have also suffered from the attacks of the radical leaders of Iran. They are Israeli citizens as much as anyone in the country. They deserve our love, prayers and support. They are there to be a light and testimony of the love of Christ. I have many Jewish friends in Israel. One of the closest friends I have in the world, is Jewish. He is like a kinsman brother to me. His family treats me like their family. I have other Jewish friends that I care deeply about. Everyone has the right to do, hate, propagate their foolish ideology against Israel.
I for one make a statement today. I will love and try to help all Israelis. I will NOT forsake them, I will NOT deny God’s mercy toward them. Why…because a true follower of Jesus Christ will love them to the end.

46 YEARS AGO THIS MONTH… I preached my first sermon at the Palmer Church of God, in Tennessee. Tomorrow morning I have the privilege to be back and preach in the morning service. I was a young man around 21 years old when I first stood in the same pulpit that is still there. I’m not young anymore, time has passed swiftly by. After

THE DANGER OF NOT BEING FILLED!

We filmed this a few years back in a “studio message”.
It is relevant and NEEDED today more than ever. One can (if honest) trace back almost all of the heresy, lukewarmness, silly church antics, foolish preaching and a false gospel to this lack of a Spirit filled experience and life. I understand there are those who then and will now oppose what I’m teaching. I’m staying with the scripture, not man’s teaching, so by any opposition I am NOT moved. This was filmed not in a service with a congregation, so no feedback, no amens…just “raw” teaching of truth that must be found as a true biblical experience. Has anybody noticed we are in “perilous” times. The soon appearing of the dark world Antichrist, the soon return of our Lord the Messiah. Eph. 5:18 commands us to be “filled with the spirit”. Yes, all true born again believers have a measure of the Holy Spirit. You cannot even be born again without the Spirit of Christ coming into a believer. In this, your as saved as you will ever be. The question is have you been Baptized in/with the Holy Ghost as were the initial 120 in the upper room? With all due respect, to those who say I deny this as truth, I won’t accept or receive it, then this is not for you. I sense a generation who is being raised up by God, who will embrace the biblical truth of being filled, living and walking in the Holy Ghost. They will be used of God in these last days. CHRISTMAS ARMENIA!

We want to thank all of you who responded to the poor children’s Christmas project in Armenia. We had committed to at least providing for 100 kids..you made it possible by God’s help to bless around 170!
These are some of the poorest children who are being raised by a single Mom, sometimes a single Dad, a Grandmother. They are from horrible living conditions, mostly with no running water. Many of them we bring to the House of Light to feed them, wash their clothes, help them learn, through education and of course about Christ. Here they can shower, have the lice removed by dedicated workers at the House of Light. Back to Christmas.
Each year, new winter coats are provided, boots, clothes, some who have been given them before, receive new bicycles, and of course Christmas candy. You made a difference in these kids lives this Christmas. With God’s help the House of Light makes a difference ongoing. We will do a post with pictures of the House of Light and the kids soon.
I’m doing this on my phone and haven’t seemed to have figured out still pics and videos on the same post. If not I’ll send out a separate post. In this we show an elderly Grandmother that we featured in the original post in early December. She was living in squalor raising three Grandchildren alone. Their mother had abandoned them. Then there will be pictures of her being moved to a better place to live, with someone buying her new clothes, winter boots and coats, groceries, and wood for the winter. She at first is really quiet, unsure of what is happening, she’s never had anything like this done for her. If I cannot get the videos of this on as well as the kids, I’ll put it in another post. It’s such blessing to see her finally smile.
