After World War II, immigrant families came to our region to work in the coal mines, steel mills, and glass and aluminum plants. On March 10, 1951, Pope Pius XII established the Diocese of Greensburg.

From that moment on, the foundation of our Diocesan community was built with vibrancy by our clergy, parishes, and schools. One that continues to grow after 75 years.

Your gift to the 2026 Diocesan Lenten Appeal, 75 Years: Our Foundation, Our Future, will help build the future of our Church today.

Support your parish today, visit DioceseofGreensburg.org/DLA2026.
