This message focuses on Jehovah Tsidkenu — The LORD Our Righteousness from Psalm 36:1–12. We will be reminded that our hope is not in ourselves, but in the righteousness and faithfulness of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

This Sunday, August 30, we’re continuing our **Knowing God** series with Lesson #2: Sovereign King — Jehovah Melech.

Psalm 24 asks the question, "Who is this King of glory?” and gives us the answer: "The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.” This week we’ll look at what it means to know God not only as Savior and Lord, but as the Sovereign King who has rightful authority over every part of our lives.

📖 **Prepare your heart by reading Psalm 24:1–10** before Sunday, and ask yourself:
• Have I truly surrendered every area of my life to the authority of King Jesus?
• What “ownership rights” am I still trying to hold onto that belong to God?
• Does my daily life reflect the holiness of the King I claim to serve?

And don’t make plans to rush off after worship!

Following the morning service, we’ll gather for **A Sweet Fellowship — Dinner on the Grounds! Bring your family, enjoy a meal together, and spend some time visiting with your church family. We invite you to bring a side dish to share and we will provide the meat. There’s something special about worshiping together around the Word of God and then sitting around the table together.

This Sunday evening, August 23, we will have Family Discipleship Night in place of our regular 6:00 PM service.

We want to encourage families to intentionally spend this evening together growing in the Lord. We have prepared discipleship notes to help guide your family through Scripture, discussion, and practical application.

Whether your children are young, teenagers, or grown, take this opportunity to slow down, open God's Word together, pray together, and make discipleship a priority in your home.

The OneDrive link for the Family Discipleship notes will be posted here. https://1drv.ms/w/c/f699033a83ea2cd7/IQA7kNN60W-lSqyNA2XZE1soAReu6YVgfSyB2EPLrKIabNI?e=hil593
