Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are making disciples of Jesus Christ who are One with Him, One with Each Other, and One in Ministry. We are a praying Church. GOLD MEDAL FOR NEW MEXICO HOCKEY STAR!

Travis Dodson of Deming won his third Paralympic sled hockey gold medal after Team USA defeated Canada 6-2 on Sunday.

Dodson is a Marine veteran who was injured in Iraq when a hand gr***de exploded just a few feet away from him.

He also competed in various ski events at the 2014 Paralympic Games in Sochi before focusing on hockey. KOB 4 PHOTO: Team USA

Today we celebrate the Epiphany with Christians around the world. Epiphany reminds us of God’s manifestation in Christ and of the greatest gift given to all mankind. The revelation of Jesus to the Magi shows us that Christ came not for a few, but for all across nations.

As the Magi followed the star and encountered the Christ child, we are invited to seek Him with the same faith and wonder and to carry His light into the world. May this season remind us that God’s light still shines, guiding us toward hope, truth and new life.
