Central Baptist Church We are a Southern Baptist Church seeking to help our members reach out to our community, nation and world.

Central Baptist Church was established in the early '30's and has always been an active and vital part of the spiritual life of Clovis. Central is one of the larger churches in Clovis, as well as one of the larger Southern Baptist Churches in New Mexico. Central has been meeting in this building for over 28 years and the ministry at the Bridge building reaches unsaved students in our town. Sitting

on 33 acres in a fast growing part of Clovis, Central sees guests every weekend in our services, as well as during the week. Central hosts several community-wide events on site, such as the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Emmaus community meetings, Upward Sports Rallies. We are excited about the plans God has for Central and we are looking to the future as we seek to use our site more effectively for His work.

Hello Central Baptist Family!

Church offices will be closed beginning on Friday, September 4th through Monday, September 7. Routine maintenance and care will be conducted on Friday and Labor Day weekend will be observed on Monday.

We look forward to seeing everyone at services on Sunday, September 6 at either 8:30 or 11 a.m. or in office on Tuesday, September 8!

We are excited to share that we have called a new Senior Pastor to Central Baptist Church. Please welcome Pastor Taylor Wood and his family into our church family!

Taylor J. Wood is passionate to preach the Gospel of Christ so that lives are transformed, and the church is equipped to grow the Kingdom of God. He received a Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a concentration in Biblical Studies. He has spoken at numerous camps and evangelism events. He has served on foreign mission trips, including co-leading a preaching conference in the Philippines. He also serves as an instructor at the Leadership Development Center in Lubbock, Texas, a ministry school training the next generation of church leaders. His heart lies in the local church, to serve, shepherd, and preach so that God would be glorified, and people would find abundant life by walking in Christ. Taylor and his family are excited to follow the Lord as he leads in the days to come.

Please join us in praying for Taylor, his family, our church and the community he is leaving in the days to come.
