CDA Court of Our Lady of Good Success #1661 was honored to help with preparations and stand in support of our sisters in Christ as they begin this new chapter of faith and service.

As we gather with loved ones to celebrate gratitude, faith, and fellowship, the Catholic Daughters wish you a joyful and blessed Thanksgiving. May your day be filled with peace, generosity, and the warmth of God’s love.

As Thanksgiving leads us into the beautiful season of Advent, we also prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. The Advent wreath is a cherished tradition that helps guide us through this time of hopeful anticipation. Here are the candles, their meanings, and the dates they are lit in 2025:

Members of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #1661 came together to assemble festive Halloween treat bags for our friends at the Poverello House. 💜🍬

Each bag was packed with care and lots of love — a small way to bring smiles and a touch of joy to those in need this season. We’re so grateful for the generosity and teamwork of our CDA sisters who continue to live out our mission of unity and charity. 🙏💖

Day 7 of Lent: Trusting in God's Plan

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." – Jeremiah 29:11

Sometimes, we struggle to trust God when life feels uncertain. We want control, yet He asks us to surrender. Lent is a time to practice letting go and allowing God to lead.

📖 Reflection: Where in your life do you need to trust God more? Are you holding onto worry instead of surrendering it to Him?

💡 Challenge: Write down one thing you are worried about and offer it to God in prayer. Trust that He is working, even when you can’t see it.

🙏 Prayer: Lord, help me to trust in Your perfect plan. Give me peace in knowing that You are guiding me, even in uncertain times.
