These daily devotions are designed to align with the weekly sermon and create intentional conversations in your home throughout the week.

Use them as simple discussion starters with your spouse, kids, family, or friends. Slow down, talk through the questions together, and make space for meaningful conversations around God’s Word.

And if you would like, feel free to engage in the comments as well. We would love to hear what God is showing you and how these conversations are impacting your home.

Scripture: 1 Kings 3:15
“Then Solomon awoke… and worshiped.”

Big Idea:
Wisdom becomes a testimony when we walk it out.

Talk About It:
Solomon didn’t just have a dream — he lived it.
“You don’t arrive at wisdom — you walk in it.”
When we walk in wisdom, we create stories worth sharing.

Family Discussion:
• What has God done in your life that you can share
• What wise choice did you make this week
• How can your testimony help someone else

Pray Together:
“God, thank You for the stories You’re writing in our lives. Help us share them with courage.”

Try It Today:
Each family member shares a short testimony:
“What God has done for me.”

WHY OBEDIENCE IS DIRECTIONAL, NOT EMOTIONAL is now live on YouTube.

Too many people are waiting to feel ready, peaceful, motivated, or certain before they move. But throughout Scripture, God often calls people to obedience before their emotions catch up.

Feelings are real, but they are not your compass.

Direction matters more than emotion.

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”

Big Idea:
Wisdom uses both your heart and your mind — but it starts with the heart.

Talk About It:
“Wisdom is discerned with your heart, not just your mind.”
God wants your emotions, thoughts, and choices to work together.

Family Discussion:
• When do you lead with your mind?
• When do you lead with your heart?
• How can both work together?

Pray Together:
“Lord, help our hearts and minds work together to follow You.”

Try It Today:
Share one decision you need God’s wisdom for.

Scripture: 1 Kings 3:14
“If you walk in obedience to Me…”

Big Idea:
Wisdom is a journey, not a moment.

Talk About It:
“Wisdom is a journey, not a destination. You have to walk in obedience.”
Solomon woke up from the dream and immediately walked in obedience.

Family Discussion:
• What does it mean to “walk with God”
• What’s one step of obedience you can take this week
• Who is someone wise you can learn from

Pray Together:
“Jesus, help us walk with You every day. Show us the next step.”

Try It Today:
Take a short family walk and talk about one wise choice you want to make.

Scripture: 1 Kings 3:13
“I will give you what you have not asked for…”

Big Idea:
Wisdom receives what God gives — not what we chase.

Talk About It:
“Wisdom can lead to wealth and honor, but God gave those to Solomon.”
Solomon didn’t ask for wealth or honor.
He asked for wisdom — and God gave the rest.

Family Discussion:
• What are things we sometimes chase
• Why is it better to receive than to strive
• What has God given you that you didn’t ask for

Pray Together:
“God, thank You for every good gift. Help us trust You to give us what we need.”
