It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved church member, Brother Eugene Hall. Brother Hall will truly be missed by the Flat Rock Baptist Church family and by all who had the blessing of knowing him.

We ask that you please keep the Hall family lifted in your prayers during this difficult time. May God surround them with His love, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Brother Barry Pettus.

Brother Barry was a faithful and dedicated member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. He served wholeheartedly on the Usher Board, the Pastor’s Aid Committee, and lifted his voice faithfully with the Mass Choir and the Hymn Choir. His commitment to the ministry and love for the church never went unnoticed.

He was also a dedicated Sunday School teacher, well versed in scripture, who took great pride in teaching and sharing the Word of God. Brother Barry had a gift for explaining the Bible in a way that encouraged growth, understanding, and a deeper relationship with Christ.

Brother Barry also had a special heart for our youth. He poured into them in every way he could whether through words of encouragement, inspirational gifts, or simply showing up with sweet treats whenever he had the opportunity. His presence brought joy, laughter, and genuine care that left a lasting impact on many young lives.

Though he will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy of service, kindness, and love will continue to live on at Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Please keep the Pettus family, our church family, and all who loved Brother Barry lifted in prayer during this time of bereavement.
