Sunday, October 29th, is a special day in the life of the people of Faith Baptist Church. It is the beginning of a new phase of ministry as we say good-bye to our pastor and his wife. They came to FBC three and a half years ago to help the church recover from a difficult period. They are now moving on to help other churches within our association. We wish them well.

This is graduation day for the disciples that have invested over forty months learning how to meet the needs of their family, friends and community with the Gospel message of Grace, Hope and Truth. We are winding down our series on "What Type of Jesus Do You Have?" Tomorrow we look at District Attorney Jesus. Paul Tripp describes this as a Jesus we make responsible for meting out vengence on our behalf. But is that the Jesus of the Bible?

We all want justice, especially when it pertains to ourselves and the people we love. Understanding justice is essential to a proper understang of God. But is that the responsiblity of Jesus and to a lesser degree ourselves? Come listen tomorrow and discover a better understanding of justice and mercy.

Remember, today is our Renewal 2017 service and outreach event. We are holding this special event at King's Mountain State Park starting at 10:30 AM. There are no activities at our home campus today. Admission to the event is free. Contact us here to find out how to get in the park for free today if attending our event. We are looking forward to seeing everyone for a great day of worship, food and fellowship at Pavilion #2.

This coming Sunday, September 24th, we are having our annual Renewal Service and Family & Friends Picnic at King's Mountain State Park Pavalion #2.

Our service will start shortly after 10:30 AM, followed with some great food and fellowship. This is an opportunity for our church family to invite their family and friends to a day of fun and food. There will be no services at our home campus.
