Bowling Green Presbyterian Church Bowling Green Presbyterian Church is a congregation of Providence Presbytery and the Presbyterian Church

Who are we and what do we affirm in life together?

•We are guided by God who is revealed in the Scripture;

•We are part of the Reformed tradition of faith and the Presbyterian Church USA;

•We affirm that the Holy Spirit enables people of all races, classes, and nations to accept the goods news of what God has done in the world, repent of their sins, and enter the community of faith;

•We believe that the church is not a fellowship of perfect people, but people who are growing in the new life of trust and faith;

•We are convinced that God still calls people into the church and gives diverse gifts to believers that they are to use to embody the gospel of Christ in the world;

•We acknowledge that the diversity of the church causes tensions and conflict yet we are bound to one another in the one body of Christ.

🎃 What a wonderful day at BGPC! 🎃

Today was our annual Pumpkin Painting Contest, and what a fun day it was! We had a great crowd, delicious food, and lots of laughter and fellowship.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who came out on Friday to help decorate and to those who stayed today to help clean everything up. We appreciate everyone who gave their time to make this event such a success!

A special thank-you to Andy Jackson for the delicious BBQ and to Jeff Jackson for keeping the festivities going as our MC. And thank you to Susan Flanagan and Becky Munsey for all the time, hard work, and planning that went into making this day possible.

It takes many hands and caring hearts to make events like this happen, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️

Great people, great food, and great fun—that's what makes BGPC such a special church family!

Today at our Legacy of Faith Luncheon, we had the wonderful opportunity to honor Debby Jackson and celebrate the many years of love, dedication, and faithful service she has given to Bowling Green Presbyterian Church.

Debby has touched so many lives through her commitment to our church, and we are grateful for all she has done—and for all she will continue to do—as a part of the BGPC family. Her faithfulness and servant’s heart are truly a blessing to us all.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and support Debby. It was a beautiful day filled with fellowship, gratitude, and appreciation for someone who means so much to our church family. ❤️

Children’s Choir starts THIS Sunday at BGPC!
For Kindergarten through 5th grade, every Sunday 9:00-9:20AM
I spent this week rearranging the choir room and finding some great materials, including this sweet book called “We Sing” which encourages worship through music for all people, ESPECIALLY children… and of course, an adaptation on “ta” and “ta-di” for rhythms!
I hope you will bring your child to this new worship experience at BGPC. It’s going to be a wonderful time of music and praise!
