It's almost time for the Annual St. John the Baptist Catholic Church's Fall Fair. This year the fair will be held Friday, October 30th through Sunday, November, 1st, 2026.

On Saturday, August 15th at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral the Diocese of Alexandria had the Annual Mass honoring Altar Servers and expressed gratitude for their dedicated service. Kasey Labom from St. John the Baptist was one of the honored Altar Servers.

Today I was pleased to ordain two of our seminarians - Gabe Dowden and Blaine Phillips- as transitional deacons. Pictured from left to right are Father Luke LaFleur (our Diocesan Vocations Director), Deacon Blaine Phillips, me, Deacon Gabe Dowden, and Father Joshua Rodrigue Rector-President of Notre Dame Seminary). Please pray for our two new deacons, for all of our seminarians, and for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.
