This month’s lectionary preview features Rev. Dr. David Davis, senior pastor of Nassau Presbyterian Church.

He reflects on the “grumblings” in the Gospels and reminds us not to let the loud voices of negativity drown out the message of Jesus. Instead, we are called to focus on Christ’s teachings of grace, forgiveness, generosity, love, and welcome for all. Like the Gospel writers, we should keep our eyes on Jesus rather than the “grumblers.”
