College campuses are mission fields—and throughout this year, we want to intentionally cover our Chi Alpha ministries, leaders, and students in prayer.

Join us in praying for Chi Alpha at:
Drake University
Iowa State University
University of Northern Iowa
University of Iowa — launching this week! 🎉

Pray for open doors, meaningful relationships, bold faith, and opportunities for students to encounter Jesus. Pray for our Chi Alpha leaders as they build community, disciple students, and share the Gospel on campuses across our state.

And this week, would you especially pray for the new Chi Alpha launch at the University of Iowa? Pray that God would connect the team with the right students and establish a strong foundation for what He wants to do in Iowa City.

We believe God is at work on Iowa’s college campuses. Let’s faithfully stand with these ministries in prayer throughout the year.

As students and educators head back to school, let’s be intentional about covering them in prayer.

Pray for courage for students stepping into something new.
Pray for wisdom and strength for teachers and staff.
Pray for healthy friendships and meaningful connections.
Pray for protection and peace throughout our schools.
Pray that followers of Jesus would be a light wherever God has placed them.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, pastor, teacher, or simply someone who cares about the next generation, your prayers matter.

✨CHURCH SPOTLIGHT✨

We love seeing churches across the Iowa Ministry Network find practical ways to love and serve the communities God has placed them in.

In Lynville, Heart of worship is doing just that through the Pay It Forward Clothes Closet, Fifth Quarter and many other outreach programs.

Pay It Forward is a dedicated space where individuals and families in the community can find clothing, food and resources they need free of charge.

Fifth Quarter happens at the local high school gym after every home football game. Church volunteers hang out with 7th-12th grade students where they have a meal, play games and win prizes. This is giving students a place to connect with each other and their community in a safe and positive environment.

Simple ideas with powerful impact: meeting real needs, caring for neighbors, and showing the love of Jesus in tangible ways.

Lynville may be a small Iowa community, but Heart of Worship is a beautiful reminder that Kingdom impact isn’t measured by the size of your town or your church- it’s measured by your willingness to serve. ❤️

We love seeing Iowa churches step into the needs of their communities in meaningful, practical ways!

This recent AG News story highlights how Radiant Church in Cedar Rapids is coming alongside young people in foster care by celebrating graduating seniors and reminding them that their accomplishments matter—and that there is a community cheering them on. ❤️

This kind of ministry doesn’t have to stop with one church.
Through IMN Foster & Adoption Ministry, we want to help churches across Iowa discover practical ways to serve children and families impacted by foster care and adoption. Whether that means raising awareness, receiving training, learning about trauma-informed care, participating in a short-term ministry opportunity, or exploring what foster and adoption ministry could look like in your own community—we would love to help you take a next step.
