Hello Everyone,
Reverend Wayne Here, You may have noticed I haven't been online lately, Usually I post two or three articles a week for the church, this last week has been very hard for me and today Is the first day I'm starting to feel like myself again, I have spent most of the past week inside my home never leaving it, not because I didn't want to, just because I couldn't, I couldn't force myself to walk out the door. Normally I suffer from seasonal depression which is worse in the winter time, rarely do I get it during the summer this time it was really bad I just didn't want to be around anyone or anything. My poor wife having to put up with me, now you know why I call her angel,It's hard because if a person is injured you can see a cast or a wound Slowly healing and you know the person's in pain but getting better, Well when you look at someone and you can't see an actual physical wound you tend to think oh they just want attention or there's nothing that really wrong with them. Mental health takes a severe toll on the one suffering and it takes a worse toll on the close friends around them because there's very little they can do to help the person. I'd like to thank all the close friends that have checked in on me and bore with me through this last week, I know I was snappish, didn't want to talk, didn't want to see anyone, but I'm starting to feel good now. Pastor Robin even got a half hug from me the other day When she stopped in to check on me and Melvina, So hopefully I'll be starting to put up those little daily thoughts again and cranking out some of my artwork for the church. Thank you one and all and god bless you. Amen
