Celebrate Recovery at Dayspring Community Church

Celebrate Recovery at Dayspring Community Church The purpose of our Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's
healing power This experience allows us to "be changed."

DaySpring is starting our Celebrate Recovery program back on January 2, 2015. It will meet every Friday night starting at 7pm at the church

The purpose of our Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's
healing power in our lives through Eight Recovery Principles. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our a

ddictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. We are learning how to work through our hurts, habits and hangups that have controlled our lives for many years. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship
with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power, Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power. For more information you can contact David Sheffield at 601-473-5926. You can also click on the email link to the right and someone will get back with you. We will have our meetings each Friday at DaySpring Church at 1100 Business Park Drive, Clinton, MS 39056 starting January 2, 2015. This is what our schedule looks like:

7:00 - Food and Fellowship
7:30 - Music, Praise, and Speaker

Surgery went well. At home now. Thanks so much for all the prayers!

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. I am finding out just how challenging it is to not be able to walk. The simple every day tasks are difficult. My church family has sure shown up to help and I am so appreciative. Surgery on my ankle will be 1/31. Gonna have some screws and plates. Recovery time after surgery a minimum of 6 weeks. My daily life both work related and ministry related have come to a screeching halt. The good news is that God is with me and this time is an excellent opportunity to get to know Him better. Out of every tragedy comes hope. A couple scriptures come to mind. Roman's 5:3. Suffering, perseverance, character, hope. A progression for those who keep their eyes on the Lord. I thank you for your continued prayers. My company has been very supportive and the details of daily life while in recovery are being met. All good things big and small come from God.

See you there!

Absolutely felt the love on my 63rd birthday from everyone. I spent my 53rd birthday in prison. What a difference God can make with His Sons sacrifice and His Sprits indwelling power. Dirty rag to God's adopted child. Prisoner to pastor. I am truly and thoroughly humbled and blessed!

I look forward to sharing the evening with everyone. All are invited. All are welcome. Child care provided.

To all those Day Springers out there. I am seeking a volunteer to pick up Cedric from Wingard house Sunday morning and give him a ride to church. I will take him back after church. He is hungry for the Lord, asked to come to church last week and I dropped the ball and couldn't find anyone to get him. (Forgot about Uber). I am praying God picks someone's heart to do this act of service. Please call me or inbox me so I can let him know who is coming to get him.
