Build Your Church — Elevation Worship & Maverick City

We the believers make up the body of the church in Christ. We need each other. We don’t build this house alone we build it together.

And the Word confirms it “Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.” (Ephesians 2:20 NLT)

That means every one of us has a role. From the moment you said yes to the Gospel, you became a partner in this work “For you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.” (Philippians 1:5 NLT)

To the leaders, the shepherds, those carrying the weight of the house don’t grow weary. “Guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock his church, purchased with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28 NLT)

The Church isn’t a building. It’s us. Bought by His blood, built on His Word, and better together. 🙏🏾

Some of us have been trying to earn something that was already given. 💛

God didn’t look at your track record and decide you were worth saving. He looked at His own mercy and moved. That’s not religion. That’s grace.

The washing. The regeneration. The renewal of the Holy Spirit. That’s not something you work up to that’s something He does in you.

📖 Titus 3:5

If you’ve been carrying the weight of trying to be “good enough” you can put it down today. He already made the move. Your job is to receive it.

If you don’t know Jesus pray this right now, wherever you are:

🙏 “Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I’m not coming to You because I’m good enough I’m coming because Your mercy is greater than my mistakes. Forgive me. Come into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior. I receive Your grace today. Amen.”
