📖 This Sunday we will continue our studies of "Women of Faith" series. There is a woman, that may not be known by many, whose name is Abagail. We find her story in 1 Samuel chapter 25. She is described as beautiful and intelligent. I love this story... it deals with two hardheaded men (David and Nabal (which means fool) and how they were about to go to war over some food... well, it could have been a little more than that... but anyway, it was just how two hotheaded men had almost done some things that could never be reversed. And in steps... this beautiful and intelligent woman... Abagail. There are lots of lessons to learn from this very wise and humble lady that we will meet Sunday. And one thing that stands out to me is that how God will use people that seem to be... unimportant in the world and how He can change the course of history when these people step up and help to set things right. Well... I'm looking forward to how the Lord intends to instruct us this Sunday. If you haven't been to church in a while, the Sunday will be a great day to return. Look forward to seeing you all.

📖 Adult Bible Study:

Have you ever asked the question... who wrote the bible? Or... how did we get the books that are in the bible? Are there any books missing and can we be sure that they are accurate? Don't you want to have confidence in knowing that the bible... this book that you have trusted all of your years, is truly the inspired word of God. Wednesday night we will explore how the bible came into existence... who were the authors of the bible and when was the bible actually written? Are you curious about the translations of the bible... the King James Version... the New International Version... the English Standard Version... which is right and are there actually verses that have been removed from the bible? Boy... there are lots of questions about your bible... and Wednesday night, we will try to answer the. This should be a very interesting study and I would encourage you all to attend. Our hearts are full after such a special morning of worship! 🙌

We celebrated Vanna Claire as she gave her life to the Lord and followed Him in believer’s baptism. What a beautiful testimony of faith and a day she will always remember! 💦✝️

We were also so thankful to see our youth serving and participating in worship today. What a blessing it is to watch the next generation grow in their faith and use their gifts to serve the Lord. ❤️

Today was a wonderful reminder that God is at work! We are thankful, grateful, and truly blessed!

It was a pleasure to serve the Hobbton High School Football Team yesterday! ❤️

The players received an encouraging devotion from Deacon Kevin Pope, followed by a delicious meal and a time of fellowship.

We are thankful for opportunities like this to support and encourage the young people in our community—not only on the field, but in their walk through life.

Praying for these young men, their coaches, and the entire Hobbton football program as they continue their season! 🙏🏈
