In Kids Club this month we are talking about the spiritual discipline of Bible Study. We encourage them to bring their Bibles on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. One of our goals in Kids Ministry is for every child to know how to use God’s Word when they move up to student ministry. The Bible will help them the rest of their lives with God’s wisdom, instructions and encouragement.

This is a good time to think about what Bible your pre-teens are using! If they were in our Kids Ministry in 1st grade, they received a Kids Bible from the church which is a great one. But as they are moving up into student ministry soon, we encourage you to help them find a Bible they are excited about using! We use CSB version in Kids Ministry, but NIV and ESV are both great versions too. Bibles that have study notes or a concordance in the back are great tools to help them study His Word.

If you have any questions, or if your child does not have a Bible and they need one, let us know. We want them to grow in their faith by learning more about God through His Word!

And, be watching next week for clues to the theme for our Fall Festival which will be revealed on Sunday, September 13 in the worship service! Fall Fest is Sunday, October 25 from 5:00-8:00 so clear your calendars and get ready!

We had a great night last night with our volunteers who serve with preschool, children and students. Gary Permenter reminded us what an impact we can make on our kids if we invest a little time outside the hour we have them each week. So thankful for so many who love on our kids and recognize they aren’t the church in the future, they are the Church now!
