Day 7 of VBS prayers! One more sleep!
Our God is El Shadday, God Almighty!
Father God, we give you this week and ask you to walk before us each day and step. We acknowledge that you are Almighty God, and we want you to receive all glory and honor this week. We thank you for all that you are going to do in and through our volunteers, and in the hearts of our children. We desire to shine the light on all that Jesus is and ask you to cover us all with your power and strength. We cannot do this week without you! In Jesus' name, Amen

Our God is Yahweh Nissi, the Lord is our Banner.
The banner would go before the people, unifying them, leading them to victory!
Father God, we submit to your leadership! Lead and guide us each day. We pray for unity as we work together to love and serve each child. And we thank you now for victory, for the hearts and lives you are going to change! In Jesus' name, Amen!

VBS Day 5 Prayer!
Our God is El Olam, The Everlasting God, highlighting his eternal, limitless and unchanging nature.
Father God, we thank you that you are everlasting, faithful and unchanging, even when things around us seem to change all the time. We are thankful that nothing surprises you because you have always been, and have seen everything under the sun. Help us to trust you next week when things feel out of control. Help us to rest in you instead of depending on ourselves. In Jesus' name, Amen.

VBS Prayer Day 4!
God is our Yahweh Roeh, the Lord is my Shepherd.
Father God, we thank you that you are our shepherd. You lead and guide us into safe places, you tell us when to rest, you provide what we need and show us where to go. Lead our volunteers as they are preparing their lessons, lead our worship leaders as they are preparing the music, and all of our volunteers as they are preparing their hearts to love and serve our kids.
We ask that you lead and our guide our children next week. Help their hearts to be led to the living water of Christ. Help their hearts to be at peace, feel safe and loved, even if this is a new place for them. Protect us and our children from the enemy that would want to attack our flock. Thank you for being our loving shepherd, and help us to trust your guidance. In Jesus' name, Amen.

VBS Prayer Day Three!
Our God is Yahweh Tsuri, The Lord is My Rock. Father God we rest in you because we know you are our rock, our sure foundation. We pray that everything we do this week is built on you, built on our rock and foundation of the truth of who you are. We don't want it built on ourselves, our personalities, our desires and wants, but on who you are and your Word. Thank you for being our firm place to stand if things feel uncertain. We trust in you. Day Two of Prayers for VBS!
Our God is Yahweh Shalom, the God of Peace. We ask, Father God, that you cover our church, volunteers, and all the kids coming next week with your peace. Help us not to be worried or anxious, to rest in you. We know nothing surprises you, so we trust that you will answer any questions or issues that arise. We thank you for the peace that passes all understanding, and that you are bigger than anything that we think is standing in our way. Thank you for being our peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Last Wednesday night was our last Kids Club for the year. We let our 6th graders lead in worship. And we had a camping theme, so we attempted to make survival bracelets, had indoor smores, and the best part was using teamwork to race to assemble tents. We have had a great year in Kids Club learning about spiritual disciplines, having fun and worshiping together!

Seven Days of Prayers for VBS!
VBS is ONE WEEK from TODAY! We would covet your prayers for our volunteers and children over the next week as we prepare. Join us each day as we ask God to bless our efforts and wait in expectation for what He is going to do.
Father God, you are Yahweh Yireh, the Lord will provide. We ask that you provide the people, the supplies, the time, the energy, the wisdom, and the clarity for our volunteers and staff this week as we prepare. You are not surprised by anything that pops up last minute. And we ask that you provide the children that you want at our VBS, that you clear families' schedules, and take away any sicknesses or struggles that would keep children from coming. We thank you for providing all we need to do what you have called us to do. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Training dates are almost here. We will have training THIS SUNDAY, May 24 at 4:00, OR you can come Wednesday, May 27 at 7:00. Both are in the Loft. When you come to one of the trainings you will get a free t-shirt. There is childcare available for both sessions. See you there!
