On behalf of my mother and the entire Jackson family and community, words cannot fully capture the depth of our gratitude. A simple โthank youโ feels far too small for the overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, kindness, and support that has surrounded us during this time.
Leonardโs imprint who he was, how he loved, and how he showed up in the lives of others was reflected back to us through each of you. The way you honored him, the way you came, the way you gave, and the way you stood with us revealed just how deeply he touched so many hearts.
Though our hearts grieve, we are comforted in knowing that he is rejoicing, still full of joy, still full of life, and yes, probably telling jokes just as we remember. His big, radiant smile is forever etched in our hearts and memories, a lasting reflection of the light he carried.
From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for standing with us, loving us, and honoring his life so beautifully.
To Cornerstone Church, thank you for opening your doors and embracing us with such grace. Pastor Greg and Pastor Jerod, your sensitivity, care, and willingness to serve in such a tender moment did not go unnoticed.
To Mr. Brandon Lee and Mr. Troy Lee of Leeโs Hometown Funeral Home, thank you for honoring our father with excellence and dignity. You served him well, and we are deeply grateful.
Angie with Pink Zebra every arrangement was breathtaking. The casket spray was beyond perfect. You captured our vision instantly and reflected his essence with such beauty.
Cassie and Sundance Florist, thank you for your care and contribution. Your touch added to the beauty of honoring his life.
To Sign Dreamers of Western Oklahoma there are not enough words. Your โyesโ spoke volumes. The display declared who our dad was so powerfully โThe joy of the Lord is his strength.โ That expression was so him, and it blessed us deeply.
To Clinton Cafรฉ, Days Inn, and TCโs we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you.
To the City of Clinton, the Water Family, Bank of the West, Interbank, the Mission House, and Mr. Chuck your support and generosity meant more than you know.
Julie Oxford, Cindy Yeager, and the entire H.O.S.T. family thank you for showing up even while carrying your own grief. The desserts were beautiful, and the love you poured out honored both Mom and Pastor Leonard so well. He would have been proud.
To my church family you are simply amazing.
To my aunties Betty Richardson and Lynn Kaye Flanders you rode this journey with us, and we are forever grateful for your strength and presence.
Thank you to Bethany Baptist Church, True Gospel Tabernacle C.H.S.C., Ms. Arzella, Mrs. Cathy Shepard, and every hand that helped your imprints were seen, felt, and deeply appreciated.
To every person who called, visited, prayed, gave, cooked, hugged, or served in any way thank you. You helped us create a celebration that truly honored his life, and we will never forget it.
UNCLE TERRY JACKSON!!! I know youโre not one for acknowledgment youโd rather move in quiet strength but today, I give you your flowers.
It was you in the late nights.
It was you in the moments when he was weak when he could no longer lift, drive, or move on his own you showed up. You came without hesitation, without announcement, just love in action.
Thank you.
And Aunt Sandra thank you. You carried him, driving him time and time again to Clinton and Weatherford when I couldnโt get there. Your consistency, your sacrifice, and your care did not go unnoticed.
I donโt just appreciate you, I honor you.
He was your brother, and you loved him well. You covered him, you stood in the gap, and you helped carry him through some of his most vulnerable moments. That kind of love leaves a legacy all its own.
And for that, we will never forget.
As we move forward, we ask that you continue to keep our mother and our entire family lifted in prayer. And even as you pray for us, know that we are mindful that many of you lost a friend, a brother, a partner, and a companion too.
Our dad was truly one of a kind strong, mighty, full of love, and full of life. He was our superhero. He will be forever missed, but his legacy will continue to live on through every life he touched.
