How’s everyone doing this week?
Whether you’re feeling rested or running on empty, remember that God is still faithful in the middle of it all. One step at a time, one prayer at a time.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Praying your week is filled with peace, strength, and reminders of His goodness ✨

“Jireh, You are enough.” 🤍

Yesterday’s message was such a reminder that surrender isn’t weakness, it’s where peace is found. We can sing “It is well” with confidence because of who God is, what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will continue to do.

“Do not be anxious about anything…” Philippians 4

So often we carry stress, fear, doubt, control, and worry when the Lord is simply asking us to trust Him. To rejoice always. To pray continually. To keep our eyes fixed on Him.

This church building may change, but the Church remains the same; people filled with the Spirit of God, walking together in surrender and faith. What a beautiful reminder on this final Sunday in this space.

Whatever you’re carrying today, lay it down before Him. He is enough. And through it all… it is well with my soul. 🕊️

Happy Thursday, church family 🤍

Just checking in on everyone today! How can we be praying for you going into the rest of the week? No matter what this week has looked like, remember that God is still faithful, still present, and still working.

Surrender Starts in the Mind

Yesterday’s sermon was a reminder that surrender is not weakness, it’s freedom.

So often we try to control every detail, overthink every situation, and carry burdens we were never meant to hold. But true peace comes when we fully surrender our thoughts, fears, plans, and opinions to the Lord.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” Romans 12:2

The enemy introduced doubt with just a thought in the garden, but God calls us to take every thought captive and trust Him completely. We don’t have to figure everything out on our own. We get to surrender to a God who already knows the outcome and whose goodness is running after us.

What keeps you from surrendering fully to Him?

Praying this week that we would renew our minds daily, walk in obedience, and trust that God is exactly who He says He is. 🤍

What an incredible day at the Piedmont Women’s Center “Born to Run 5K”! 🏃‍♀️💙

The Edmisten/Messer Life Group had the opportunity to come out and support, volunteer, and cheer on all of the amazing runners. We also got to see a fellow Heritage Fellowship member running the race (and may I say, she absolutely crushed it!) 👏

This year’s 5K brought together 650 runners and raised an incredible $215,000 to support the ministry and work of PWC. What a beautiful picture of a community coming together to make a difference for life and families in our area. 🤍

✨ It’s Thursday, church family! ✨

No matter what this week has looked like so far, God is still faithful, still working, and still worthy of our praise. 🤍

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23 (ESV)

Take a moment today to thank Him for His goodness, His grace, and the strength He gives day by day. We’re praying you finish this week encouraged and resting in the Lord! 🙏

What a powerful word this morning on surrender, repentance, and living fully for Jesus.

As we celebrated Mother’s Day, we were reminded to appreciate the mothers and spiritual influences God has placed in our lives . Women who have prayed, discipled, sacrificed, loved deeply, and pointed us toward Christ. 💐

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:” -Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭28‬ ‭ESV‬‬

But the message didn’t stop there. We were challenged with a hard truth: tomorrow is not promised. The call was clear, stop living in the illusion of “one day” and let today become “day one.”
- Day one of obedience.
- Day one of surrender.
- Day one of repentance.
- Day one of boldly following Jesus.

“The heart does not naturally drift toward God.” We must intentionally seek Him daily, preach the gospel to ourselves, and walk in repentance and surrender.

Thankful for the reminder that God’s kindness leads us to repentance and that His grace is still calling us back into the light.

Thank You, Jesus, for the blood applied. ❤️
