Pope Leo XIV places France under Our Lady’s protection at Lourdes. 🙏

A powerful moment of faith unfolded at Lourdes on September 26, as Pope Leo XIV knelt before Our Lady at the Grotto of Massabielle.

In a moving act of devotion, the Holy Father touched the sacred grotto, drank from its spring, and entrusted France and its people to the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

His prayers extended beyond France to a world longing for peace. He prayed for unity, compassionate leadership, the protection of the poor, and strength and healing for those burdened by sickness and suffering.

The visit concluded with the presentation of a Golden Rose to Our Lady, a traditional papal gift symbolizing special honor and devotion.

One Pope. Thousands of pilgrims. One Mother. A world in need of prayer.

May Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for our families, our nations, the sick, and all those longing for peace.

Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us! 🌹
