One of the things I have learned is that God often answers prayers through people.

We pray for encouragement, and God sends a friend.

We pray for wisdom, and God sends a mentor.

We pray for help, and God sends a stranger with exactly the right words at exactly the right time.

We pray for direction and God shows us a poem on a wall written by a stranger.

We pray for provision, and God moves the hearts of His people to share what they have.

Looking back, many of the people God placed in our lives were not there by accident. They were part of His answer.

At Stone Soup Ministries, we see this every day.

A volunteer shows up.
A donor brings food.
Someone offers a prayer.
A neighbor lends a hand.

What may seem like a small act of kindness often becomes the very thing God uses to answer someone else’s prayer.

The story of Stone Soup reminds us that when everyone contributes what they can, God creates something far greater than any one person could accomplish alone.

Today, take a moment to thank God for the people He has placed in your path—and consider how you might be the answer to someone else’s prayer.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

I was going to put this on a picture and make it look fancy. But I think its best like this. The message needs nothing else.

It was a productive day. We shopped separated and boxed up 22 meal boxes. We have a lot of food that can be used for next month’s boxes left over. Im sorry it was such short notice. I will try and do better next time. Thanks to everyone that could come by. We did a great job today.
