It’s that time in the semester when mid-terms are stressing all of us out… no better thing to do than release it to the Lord through worship and prayer!!

This is one of our favorite Wednesdays every year when we get to unplug, seek God’s presence, and bow before Him in worship.

SPRING BREAK MISSION TRIP TESTIMONIES!!

Each Spring Break we send college students to go and SHARE their faith all across the world.

Hi, my name is Lainey walker and last year I had the privilege of going to the Dominican. We started out the day doing door-to-door ministry and ended the day with student ministry. It was really beautiful to see the simplicity of student ministry there. I left last years trip with a fresh perspective of ministry and all I have to be greatful for here in America. I think you should go to the Dominican this year to gain new perspective and deepened love for the ministry we are able to do here in Mississippi. I truly believe this trip is life changing and somethings you won’t regret.

My name is Ella Tierce and last year I had the privilege to go to Zimbabwe for a spring break mission trip. While we were here we did children’s ministry, well building, and got to support and spend time with the life students on the farm. This trip truly changed my perspective on the word contentment and what it really means to live content and dependent on the Lord. As well as seeing the joy in students and even teachers faces while singing, dancing, playing games, and lastly getting to celebrate the gift of water is something i’ll never forget. This is why I think you should go on a spring break mission trip because the joy that comes from these experiences and seeing the Lord move in unique ways is unmatchable.

Hey I’m Parker Martin and the Cambodia mission trip was so amazing because the staff at The Hard Places showed all of us how to live out God’s mission. They discipled the kids that they interacted with everyday usually by taking care of their basic needs and taking any opportunity to teach them about the love that God has for them. My favorite part about the trip was creating relationships with the staff and kids that we got to see everyday. This trip will definitely change your perspective on how you approach relationships and disciplesh

Ever feel like you know the truth God will provide, BUT you struggle to believe He will do it? Same.

What a joy it was to gather together as a church family and celebrate new life in Jesus through baptism! There’s no greater gift than the love and grace of Jesus Christ. It changes our hearts, sets us free from sin and death, and gives us a desire to tell others about Him!

How special it was to see these college students step out in faith and publicly declare their faith in Jesus. Praise Jesus for new life! 🙌

TESTIMONY MONDAY: Listen to how SHARING their faith with others has grown their own faith!

Claire Thornhill - By sharing my faith I have been challenged in gaining a deeper knowledge of why I believe what I believe about the Lord. It has helped me understand how real and evident He is in my life and in the lives of others. Through sharing my faith and seeing what the Lord does it has drawn me closer to the Him. Some of my biggest lessons that the Lord has taught me, in my relationship with Him, was in the moments that I was sharing the gospel or preparing my heart to.

Carter Jackman - Through talking to others about my faith, I have gained a more meaningful relationship with Jesus. I have learned to rely on him to give me the words to speak when sharing my faith. This has done nothing but deepen my belief in Christ. Seeing how powerful his words are, and the impact they have on people, has lead me to trusting him more and more each and every day.

Hannah Moriah Perez - Growing up, I thought my testimony was boring because I grew up in the church as a Pastor’s kid and then got saved as a pre-teen. As I have been growing and sharing my testimony on mission trips, at camp, and with friends, the Lord has shown me that even my boring testimony can touch and help people understand that even if they grew up in the church, the Lord has saved them from sin and changed them into life with him forever. When I went to New York this summer on a mission trip, I had the opportunity to share my testimony on the subway. Even though sharing my testimony, the story of the gospel comes out and more people will listen to a story about your life. Also while sharing my faith, the Lord has grown me into believing that he has saved me from a life living in sin and now I am in a life living for Jesus.
