Church isn't a place for perfect people. Church is a place for broken sinners to encounter a perfect savior. If you are looking for a perfect church, you're not going to find it. Churches are occupied by people. People are fallible. People sin. People will always let you down at some point. But, while those imperfect, sinful, broken, people are assembled together in that church building, they are gathering as one body; as children of the most perfect father. Those people are praising, worshipping, glorifying, and crying out to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Those people are giving thanks to a perfect savior that died and resurrected to cover their imperfections. Stop looking for perfect Christians and perfect churches. Instead, look for a holy, perfect, God. You'll find that in Jesus Christ. He lived the life that I should've lived, and died the death that I deserved to die, because He loved me that much. He loves you that much too. So, tomorrow, go to an imperfect church, with imperfect people, to experience a perfect God. We're all just sinners in need of a savior.
