Sometimes the thing you need most isn’t another answer.

It’s a place to breathe.
A place to lay down what you’ve been carrying.
A reminder that God is still God, even when life doesn’t make sense.

Maybe this week has been heavy.
Maybe you’ve been fighting battles nobody knows about.
Maybe you’ve made mistakes you wish you could undo.
Maybe you’re simply tired.

Come anyway.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors of a church. You don’t have to clean yourself up first. You don’t have to pretend everything is okay.

Come as you are. ❤️

Tomorrow morning, we’d love to have you at Clinchco Missionary Baptist Church.

📖 Sunday School — 9:45 AM
⛪ Worship Service — 11:00 AM
👧🧒 Children’s Church for the younger crowd!

Bring your family. Bring a friend. Or come by yourself and leave with some new ones.

You never know… the Sunday you almost stayed home could be the Sunday God gives you exactly what your heart needed.

> “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” — Psalm 122:1

There’s a seat waiting for you. Come worship with us. 🙏❤️

Please remember Paula Sykes and her family!! Their sweet momma and our sweet Rose finished her Journey here!!

Rosa Marie Mullins, age 87, of Dickenson County, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 6, 2026. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by her deep faith and boundless love for her children & family.
Rosa truly loved the Lord and lived her faith daily. When Dementia took away her memories and health, she never lost faith in the Lord; she called on him daily for strength and peace. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every moment spent stepping into her favorite roles as a mother, Mother-in-law, Mamaw, Granny, and Great-Granny. An energetic and creative soul, Rosa loved flowers, crocheting, cooking, square dancing, and being on the go! She filled her home with faith, love, and warmth, always making time for the family and friends who meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ora Hayes; her siblings, Vernon Hayes, C.P. (Rose) Hayes, Anna (Joe Bill) Rowe, Ronald Hayes, Jimmy Hayes, and Peggy Turner; her son, Danny Keene; her stepdaughter, Carolyn Dotson; her stepson, Hugh Mullins; her granddaughter, Chloie Grace Sykes; and her grandson, Sam Ramsey.
Her beautiful legacy lives on through her surviving family, including her children:
Larry (Donna) Keene of Midland, TX
Sheila (Randy) Looney of Bristol, VA
Darla (Gerald) All of Waynesboro, VA
Paula (Keith) Sykes of Clintwood, VA
Hatler (Mindy) Mullins Jr. of Abingdon, VA
Son-in-law: Richard Dotson of Radford, VA
Brother-in-law: Glen Turner of Wakeman, OH
Sister-in-law: Lola Jean Hayes of NM
Rosa is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; a special friend, Audrey France; a special niece, Tammie Sowards; alongside a host of very special nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends at 6:00 PM; services to follow at 7:00 PM with Clergy Justin Kiser officiating.
Funeral services will be the following day, Monday, August 10, 2026, at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 PM. A burial will follow at the Hayes Family Cemetery in Clintwood, Virginia.
Pallbearers will include: Willis Rowe, Tony Simons, Rick Mullins, Stacy Sowards, Dale Colvin, Jordon Kester, Austin Sowards, and Landry Mullins.

Mullins Funeral Home and Staff are serving the Mullins Family. Online condolences may be made at www.mullinsfuneralhome.net.
