Pentecost Holy Ghost Fire Sunday was a blessed time last Sunday hearing personal testimonies and experiences
with Holy Spirit for daily victory. We were all stirred with hunger to know Holy Spirit more and depend on His power for ministry and witnessing, and for His Fire to fall on our lives as we present ourselves as living sacrifices and offerings to the Lord.
Thank you everyone who stayed after Wednesday worship to help empty the youth rooms in preparation for the
new carpet installation.
The new carpet looks great in the youth rooms. Josh worked very hard to install it.
It is such a blessing and we are so thankful.
Church family fellowship game night / bonfire cookout this past Friday was perfect weather for a bonfire and
co****le, and also a great time eating, talking, and playing inside. Thank God for this church family and fellowship. Love, unity, encouragement, and friendship is here in Jesus name. What a blessing.

Memorial Day 2026 ministry outreach service project update
Prayer for Memorial Day parade and prayer booth
Thank you all for all the abundant donations of Bibles, bracelets, candy, bottles of water, ice, time
helping decorate the float, $, etc. God bless you for giving & praying for this ministry outreach community service project.
We had a good crowd gathered from the church watching the parade from the front of the church.
Posters on the float (truck):
“Peace Community Christian Church. Jesus loves you. Jesus saves. Jesus loves you and so do we.
Free water & Prayer booth at High School. How can we pray for you? We are here for you.
God cares. Faith, hope, love.” Also we had hearts and smiley faces plastered all over the truck.
Parade float (truck) participants:
Steve Stratton; Anne, Enoch, Noah, Elijah, Naomi, Moses, Hadassah Miller; Lexi Swan.
Elijah and Naomi walked and carried the church banner in front of the truck that said:
“Peace Community Christian Church. Jesus loves you and so do we. Jesus Christ saves,
delivers, and heals.”
Pastor got his wish to be (one of) the loudest float and had the music blaring loud for all to hear.
We had enough candy to make it all the way through the parade, and some leftover as well. Praise God.
Prayer booth was manned by Beth Smith, Tammy McDaniel, and Naomi Miller.
They prayed with people and handed out lots of free water, Jesus loves you bracelets, and small
rubber Jesus figurines. A few people took a Bible.
We had a good reception and interaction with the community, we all had fun, and we leave the results
and fruit of our labor in this outreach to the Lord. It was a blessed time and we were grateful for
the ability and opportunity to be involved as a church.
See the community prayer list from the church prayer booth on the other side.
Church prayer booth community prayer list:

Lady (Joan) wanted prayer for drama in her living situation.

A vendor who is a Christian wanted prayer for his wife Stephanie who is at end of life stage.
A young man (Neil) who came 4 times and was not into religion but open to the Gospel.
First time he said he wasn't a religious person and refused everything. I told him I am not religious either, and Jesus isn't either. Said a few more things and told him to come back if he changed his mind. 3rd time he came back and wanted a Bible. Refused prayer but wanted to know if he could read on his own. I showed him the last pages of the bible where it listed "salvation " and scripture references. I told him it is up to him but the best choice is deciding for Jesus to be his friend, etc.
Lady who wanted prayer for her daughter’s health issues.
Lady wanted prayer for her new job she was starting.
Lady (Lynnie) who loves Jesus but is having an issue with ongoing depression.
Lady (Claudine) who is a strong Christian engaged with other strong Christians in a ministry and she injured her
neck and asked for healing prayer.
Lady wrestling with questions and doubts about God’s love and goodness amidst injustices in this world.
Cindy Speicher is grateful for Holy Spirit continuing to show her how to sell her beautiful plants.
