Status Update on City Pool & 7th Street Improvements

Unfortunately, the continued rain has not allowed the ground to dry out long enough for contractors to complete the final asphalt and concrete work required for both the City Pool and the 7th Street road project. While the projects are nearing completion, these final stages require dry ground conditions to ensure the work is completed properly and will last for years to come.

For the City Pool, staff is actively working to establish a tentative opening date in mid-July. We understand the delayed season has been disappointing, and we are exploring several free pool days in August as a small way to thank our community for its patience and support during the 2026 season.

As for the 7th Street project, we remain in regular communication with the contractor and our city engineer and are prepared to move forward with the final phase as soon as conditions allow.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we continue working through a rainy spring and early summer. We will provide additional updates as soon as more information becomes available.

We wanted to provide a quick update on the ongoing projects throughout the City of Clifton. Due to the recent rainy weather conditions, our projects have experienced delays. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this time.

We will continue to keep the community updated as progress moves forward, as we are just excited about new streets and new amenities!
