The Ladies of Zion Church at Womack were honored to hostess the May Birthday Party at Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home this afternoon. Choir director, Don Parrish, led the group in singing some of the old familiar hymns accompanied by Sherry Schulze on the keyboard. Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry cakes were served along with either Big Red or Root Beer Floats. It was a very happy and joyous afternoon!

Congratulations Bree! 💚💛

Our campus is incredibly fortunate to have Mrs. Bree Thiele as part of our school family. Since stepping into the counselor position, she has worked tirelessly to improve the overall wellness of our campus and create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for all students. Mrs. Thiele is passionate about implementing fresh and innovative ideas that strengthen our school community and ensure every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
Her dedication goes far beyond her job title. Whether she is organizing student council activities, leading fundraisers, preparing engaging lessons, or simply making herself available to students and staff, Mrs. Thiele consistently goes above and beyond with a smile and a servant’s heart. Her positive attitude, compassion, and willingness to help others have made a lasting impact on our school atmosphere.
Mrs. Thiele truly cares deeply for every student and staff member. She works hard each day to ensure everyone is supported, cared for, and encouraged. Students enjoy her presence, trust her guidance, and benefit greatly from the love and care she pours into our school community. Her hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment make her exceptionally deserving to be recognized at VME’s Employee of the Year.

Neighborhood Clifton was a wonderfully successful day in shining the Light of Christ! 41 jobs were done by over 100 volunteers. Our church provided just over 20 of those volunteers. Thank you to all of the churches and volunteers that participated in this!

Pastor Cody Creel spoke of spreading Christ Light for all to see and a large group of people came together from different churches and showed the one thing we all have in common through Christ's love.

At Zion Church, hygiene kits and birthday kits were assembled by volunteers and will be distributed to those in need of them.

Zion provided an excellent lunch and everyone that came to the park got something to eat. Kyle and Nellie Nicotre, and John Thiele took the 70 left over sandwiches and delivered them to the homeless in Waco.

April 26th was a blessing not just to those that received but to each person that participated. Thank you to all!
