First COGIC Clifton Forge, VA Pastor Leon Taylor proudly serves as Pastor. FIRST COGIC was founded in 1933; and is a part of COGIC VA #2 We worship Sundays @ Noon. We pray Tuesdays @ Noon.

Pastor Leon Taylor has pastored First COGIC for 35 years. The church has made an impact in the community through its worship services, outreach and familial atmosphere. All are welcome to join us in experiencing the love of Christ and the power of his resurrection! On Thursday, we have Family worship and Bible Study @ 7:00 PM! Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Iconic Virginia Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction – Church of God in Christ
October 9–10, 2026 | St. John’s COGIC, Newport News, VA

The 2026 Triad Conference will convene October 9–10, 2026 at St. John’s Church of God in Christ in Newport News, Virginia. This unified gathering brings together three jurisdictional ministries:

• Women’s Ministry Convention
• Men’s Ministry Convention
• Pastor & Elder Council

Friday, October 9: Opening service featuring Bishop Liston Page.
Saturday, October 10: Jurisdictional Assembly with leadership updates, departmental reports, and strategic ministry direction.

All pastors, elders, credentialed workers, and members are encouraged to attend.

The public is welcome for all open sessions.
